1.) Yes, because Ancelotti is just going to sit there and watch that happen for 90 minutes. You might be able to accomplish that in fits and starts, in patches, but it is unsustainable over 90 minutes.
2.) Those teams don't exist anymore, so what is the point of mentioning/referencing them?
3.) You are over-rating us. In 9 out of 10 encounters, we'd lose against Madrid. Heck, we might even play the perfect game and still lose. Madrid do possess flaws, but it isn't as if we are impeccable or indestructible. We have an ageing/slow defense, and our attempts at counter attacking have been pathetic and embarrassing thus far (we shall see how that changes this season, if at all).

I am being serious. You also have to look at the teams they both managed. Ancelotti started out with Reggiana and Parma in a highly competitive Serie A. They pushed for the title in the heyday of Serie A, against teams who were much better equipped than them. He only failed @ Juve (by finishing 2'nd twice), and that was only because he had Zidane injured for a period of time, and a Del Piero trying to regain form after that horrific injury.

Juventus did it for 3 seasons in a row in 1995-1998. Mourinho's inter did it for two games against the strongest barcelona in 2012, Heynckens bayern did it in 2013.
Allegri did it with a shit milan against Barcelona in 2013 etc.
Any team that is not well balanced, runs the risk of beeing tactically limited and drawn into duels. If you dont have the Martinez-schweinsteiger midfield to back your flair and fancy up, you'll face significant issues. Madrid has very poor recovery players. Very few workrate players. They will suffer when aggressively pressed by tactically diciplined teams.
Thank fuck for them, there are none at the moment, apart from perhaps juventus and chelsea.

And we now got allegri who's a master at setting a deep defence with proper aggression. And we added players who can counterattack.
