You cheer for our gentleman rivals?
Yup, I don't hate Milan, never have actually. Liked that older generation lead by Boban and Savicevic, later on Pippo, Sheva, Seedorf, Rui Costa, etc... Not a fan, but I respected them.

All top Italian clubs can go to hell, wish the worst for them except for JUVE.

Non gave a shiit (look at their players, fans, managements reaction) when we went to Serie B, yet we wish the best for them ! The hell with this league status.

Bayern totally dominated the german league for years and in the CL they were the only true force there for a good 13-14 years up until dourtmond came back to Europe. I didn't see any harm happened to Munich, they're right now the team that everyone in Europe inspire to be like.

Over those 13 or 14 years, the entire German league has become stronger, unlike the Italian league. Just look at the stadiums, attendance rates, results, etc.

Over the last 3 years alone, we've had 3 German finalists, 1 winner.
The 10 preceding years, we've had 2 German finalists, 0 winners.

So this basically contradicts the exact point you're trying to make. Spin it any way you like, a strong league is just better for all teams involved.

Edit: let's just move to France.

Every time that Bayern became somewhat successful in Europe they had at least another German club capable of reaching later stages; Dortmund, Leverkusen, Dortmund again. See how good they were in between.

And besides, we can't cherry pick any player from the league. The very demographic of the country prevents this from happening, as well as Serie A having three historically very big clubs on top of Roma and Napoli. The Bundesliga does not have that, even if currently they might be stronger individual teams (debatable outside of Bayern). Depth is what they have, aside from the overall matchday experience. Germany is also a significantly more populous, wealthier, and politically stable country.

Until the entire league is fixed as a package then we'll just be propping it up. Ideally the rest of the teams can fail miserably and the league could become more competitive, but that doesn't even begin to make sense.

Better stadiums, fans, atmospher is what Serie A needs. I don't care if Italian clubs reach quarter final of the CL (don't mind them doing well in Europa though).

Fiorentina reached QF in the CL some years ago under prandelli, Inter + AC won the competition yet the league kept on going from shiit to shiitier did it really help !!

Again my point is, why do we need our rivals to do better in the CL (specifically Inter and AC) ? So that more $$ they'll get, they will still sell their best for the highest bidder. It makes zero sense to me.

Forza Serie A indeed and I always cheer for Italian clubs, bar Nipples and Merda. Cannot force myself to cheer for these two, especially for Merda.

exactly the way i think. those 2 are the only teams i hate with a passion along with Barcelona and Liverpool. Milan on the other side never seemed like a team i have to hate to me. they were our rivals, i wanted us to beat them everytime, but i never hated them. Inter is the disgusting club from that city :yuck:

no at this age we don't need other italian clubs to get better, we just need enough money and enough prestige to sustain and improve the squad to compete consistently against the bests in europe; it's not just bayern, but clubs like P$G are further proof to that.

Better league = more TV money
More exposure = higher sponsorship deals
