I wasn't branding the entire country, but the football community. Russia (much like the rest of Eastern Europe) doesn't have a great track record when it comes to Racism. Not only that, but a couple of months ago, Zenith (if I'm not mistaken) ultras asked their board not to sign any black or gay players.

There is no problem at all with discussing racism as a general trend in some of the eastern countries, especially Russia. Every second new neo-nazi is Russian, it's truly an epidemic over there. As football fans usually are total idiots, it's only logical that a high percentage of the large racist group go to the games.
