:D

as long as Milan does the winning, I don't really care where Juve or Inter finish. It's in the interest of Milan's European ambitions, and all of Serie A for that matter, for the big teams to be in good condition and take part and do well in European tournaments year in year out.
All in all, I want a strong Juve, Inter, Roma, etc as long as Milan finish above any of them :)

OK, Juventini, stop wasting brain cells on what kind of a Milan fan I am and go play in the vBookie :D ... Chester just made a brand new European League event for your entertainment and there is also another round of Champions League games today (Inter needs your love and support :klin:).
And Woody just pitched in with the UFC 144 event ... just the place to back up all that tough talk with some action ;)

All in all I kind of agree if all rivals become too weak it would take away a lot of interest from watching Juve. For eg now watching Juve-torino is way less interesting then watching milan-Juve, mainly because torino is weak and in no position to rival Juve.

I love football way too much to hate football teams, and above all I love Italian football. But Inter deserves every single thing they're going through and I hope there's some more waiting for them, seriously, fuck that club.

Can't help but be impressed about what Napoli is (& has been) achieving in the CL. It's not always great from a tactical perspective, but it sure is entertaining.

And I'm usually not the guy who goes around blaming or criticizing managers, but what's up with Villas Boas? He honestly looks more clueless than the lovechild of Del Neri & Donadoni.
Unless of course he was brought to Chelsea with the sole purpose of getting the team to forget all the basics of football. In that case: job well done.

I firmly hope that Marseille destroy Inter tonight, but realistically Inter will prevail over 2 legs  :(

Barca and Madrid are as good as in the QF, along with Milan, and probably Napoli. I hope Apoel manage to overturn their first leg deficit against Lyon, but I see the experience of the French side seeing them through. Benfica will most likely edge the tie against Zenith, and although Basel might trouble Bayern, I see the Germans as being too strong over 2 legs.

Prospective QF Lineup:

Barcelona
Real Madrid
Bayern
Milan
Inter
Napoli
Benfica
Lyon

Depending on how the draw pans out, we could potentially have 2 or even 3 Italian representatives in the Semis. As long as none of them win, I'm fine with that.

Ideally, I'd love an Apoel vs Marseille final, but that's as likely to happen as Denmark or Greece are likely to win the Euros again.

Oh and seriously, Napoli were horrible at the back, if we were a decent side we could have beat them.
If you had better defenders and midfielders, yeah, but that's a lot of positions.

But that statement is pretty much exactly what I was saying throughout the game, their defense was there to be beaten just like yours (even though I think they performed better). Milan seems like more of a certain to qualify, but I still think the Napoli tie is far from over.

Napoli are such a likeable team. I love their style of play, how fast they counter attack, the speed of their counter attack is alarming.

Lavezzi and Cavani

I heard Al Jazeera commentator said that Napoli is the fastest team to go from defence to offense, i don't know if there's some stat to that or he was talking out of his ass.

They just don't have depth as a team to rotate and afford winnin both on Serie A and European games.Only problematic area for them is their defence, except Britos and maybe Campagnaro i don't like CBs as Aronica for example. They should have some more quality defenders imho.

Think it otherwise..Maybe it's time to win a single game.At least 4-5 late games they sucked badly, one day that stops. My logic is bet-like,i expect a team make a false circle and turn back to some wins. That way they'll progress i think and tbh Marseille isn't a big deal.Only have some good performances lately in ligue 1 games, that's all.
