Lahm is absolutely not even comparable to Alves, not even close though he is very good. With Pique, when I said best around, I meant one of the top few best defenders, including with or after Vidic, Thiago Silva and suprise improvement by someone like Kompany (super impressive).
But believe when I say, Lahm wishes he was as good as Alves. Alves only competition is a great Maicon, though we havent seen that for a year now.
Actually, I couldn't stand him after he went to Chelsea, but there's no denying he is the best manager in the world. He'll continue to show it, no question.
