When you look at the Barça team, they have Messi, Xavi, Ineista, and Villa, 4 of the best players in the World.
Which other team comes close?
In a team sense, no one (plus Alves and Pique who are arguably the best around in their positions), but I thought you were talking individually for players in general. And in that regard its Messi, then Ronaldo, then by some distance other players.

Edwin hasn't ever been the best keeper in the world in any period of time. Anybody who says that is a friggin' retard.
I've heard quite some people say that very often. My brother in law keeps op repeating it every time I talk about Buffon. Surely national feelings are a part of the reason.

Lahm > Alves
Vidic, Thiago Silva > Pique.

Just saying.

I dont think Lahm is better than Alves, although I dislike the Brazilian. I think it's quite clear this season that Alves is the best at his position.

Lahm is absolutely not even comparable to Alves, not even close though he is very good. With Pique, when I said best around, I meant one of the top few best defenders, including with or after Vidic, Thiago Silva and suprise improvement by someone like Kompany (super impressive).

But believe when I say, Lahm wishes he was as good as Alves. Alves only competition is a great Maicon, though we havent seen that for a year now.

Mascherano: "I know Liverpool supporters are sad with me after my exit... this is for them as well.
What an idiotic thing to say. Stick with football, Mr. Wordsmith.

You love Mouriniho.

Mourinihofanboy.
Actually, I couldn't stand him after he went to Chelsea, but there's no denying he is the best manager in the world. He'll continue to show it, no question.

get over your insecurities, biases, and open your eyes: c. ronaldo is easily the most complete player out there
I've heard this argument before. Even if you believe it, Messi is still the better player.

I've heard quite some people say that very often. My brother in law keeps op repeating it every time I talk about Buffon. Surely national feelings are a part of the reason.
I hear it mostly from Manure and Prem fans, sadly to say.

Lahm is absolutely not even comparable to Alves, not even close though he is very good.
That's not fair to Lahm at all. He's certainly better defensively than Alves.
