Such a faggot. Can't believe from a time with players like Henry, Ronaldo, Raul, Zidane, Del Piero and Nedved and we went to call a player with this shit behaviour ''the best player in the world'' :sergio:
He's no saint, but lol, defenitely more of a saint then Pavluska, who I love, but was a serial serial diver, Henry was an arrogant ass and crybaby, and Zizou I adored, but was occasionally a total madman, see my point? :p While Ale is just Ale :touched: :D

Messi occasionally loses his cool (argie blood :D), and his only human, but if there is someone I would say of now and past players who usually is just cool as cucumber and takes things in stride, then Messi would be one of the prime examples. No one gets as fouled as he does, and defenitely has the right to be way more frustrated then we seen him to be, but in general he goes by his way quitely and lets the football do the talking for him (in that regard think he's similar to Giggs and Del Piero, minimum fuss off and on the field in general). To take one incident and say he has shit behaviour in general is bit funny, hehe.

Isn't the difference that we are "instructed" to believe that Messi is a perfect player who never does anything wrong (never dives, never fouls but always gets fouled, never argues, etc), while the media can't get enough of the mistakes others make?
Zidane, as you mentioned, being a prime example. Even if he did somehow deserve the negative attention.

Has a lot to do with the "holier than thou" act Barca has been playing for a while now.
That has NOTHING to do with him though, he has not said he is perfect or a saint, in fact, he doesnt say ANYTHING off the pitch, and he generally doesnt do anything on the pitch except play his usual game. Its pretty rich to keep projecting these ideals to him, and then hold it against him for the most minor of incident (that above one is minor stuff).

But I didn't say that he was the one proclaiming this stuff, did I? ;)

But you are holding it AGAINST him, its pretty vital to point out no, that he has nothing to do with what others (mainly hyperbolic media) project him as.

He's holding it against the people who praise him. I'm sure if Buck was chatting with Messi he wouldn't bash him for it.

UEFA has suspended Real Madrid coach Mourinho for 5 games for his statements after the game vs Barcelona last week
Now compare this with UEFA's decision to completely ignore and reject Real's complains about the complete lack of fair play Barcelona demonstrated. Actually, it's not just lack of fair play but it's dirty and unfair play. If Krasic can (rightfully) be banned after a dive, why does UEFA close the eyes to everything Barca players do?

This period in world football is obviously supposed to be remembered by this Barca team. In 30 years the world will have to remember Messi and this Barca, just like some football periods are remembered by the Brazilian football team and Pele. Nothing in the world should ruin this plan and this dream. For that to happen Barca must win a lot, Barca must be clean and its players must have a clean record. The team must have ballon d'or winners and it must dominate ballon d'or nominations. Platini and this UEFA stuff will be remembered by Barcelona.

Barsa will be remebered, many experts already denoted Barsa as the best team ever to step on the pitch, great generation, started with Ronaldinho and surely will end with Messi, the are simply the best right now

Then once Platini is done with turning Barca into the best team in history, hopefully Juventus is next on his agenda.
Platini can't help Juve or anyone else if the team doesn't help itself. Barca did a hell of a job to create a great team. Alone. They didn't need Platini or someone else to do that for them.
But once they did it, UEFA saw a good opportunity to do something that will be both in their and Barca's favor.

Not really.
If Barca don't win things, then they will be nothing more than Cruyff's Netherlands.
They must win things (must be helped to win things) to be Pele's Brazil, not Cruyff's Netherlands.

Stop hating on Messi. He's got one of the greatest personalities on and off the pitch I've ever come to witness. Del Piero being the one who's better.

Nedved used to flip out and tackle bitches, Zidane was a mental case, Henry was a faggot, etc. I hate Barca but I love Messi.

FIGC punish divers whenever they feel like it every 3 years (and only foreigners, one of them retracted later one), when has Uefa/Fifa done so? If Barca players are suspended for diving for that game, then that would be a welcomed precedent, because some diver would be banned after almost every football game. Do you see that happening? No. And Real filing unfair/diving complaint, they are doing it for the sake of it, they know it wouldnt lead anywhere, if it did, they would lose a couple of their stars weekly.

They weren't only diving. They were calling black players monkeys. What happened to the battle against racism?
And if they don't punish players for unfair play, shouldn't they at least punish the referees for poor refereeing?

Can't you see that UEFA is doing everything to completely ignore everything negative Barcelona does?

Busquets should defenitely be suspended/fined for his bigoted remark. Havent heard any progress on that.

And I havent noticed refs be punished directly for being duped by dives (though most of the farce were fouls-semi fouls but the tards overacting/playacting an injury), or not giving them yellow card enough (in this case I understand it, hard to take the intiative to give yellows for them, likely to make game more violatile). Its based on past record of the ref prolly, how he has faired in the past and so on (though that worthless norweigan ref of previous years games keeps getting profile games). Will get less high profile games if several poor performances happend. But punished I usually seen in widely reported big mistakes, like a game deciding pk/red card decision (thats really bad, not arguable like Pepe's).

And I wish I could see I do, but you are changing your reasons too much, if you want them to be punished for diving, when no one has been done in Uefa before, then its deffo asking too much. But defenitely Busquets should be fined. Regarding refs, its usually an internal matter/investigations, we cant really know whats decided/done except for high profile career influencing mistakes (no that kind of scenario in that game). We'll just have to wait and see what they will decide on that (IMO the 2nd leg ref should be told off heavily, he was too much of a coward, he played it safe by not taking any warranted decisions, were several yellows&red card he could given), but IMO taking stand on diving/unfair play is overall Federation responsibility, and not just refs who has to rule in very tense/violatile sitautions. And thats overall football issue, not a Barca related one.

Osman, I don't want Barca to be punished for diving and just for that. I don't want them to be punished for x, y and just for that. I'm not changing my reasons at all.
All I want to see is UEFA to stop closing an eye on everything negative that is done by Barca players. If Mourinho can be banned for 5 matches after his statements, I'd like to see Busquets banned as well for some of the things he did and are related to racism.
If XY can get a yellow card for something, then I'd like a Barca player who does the same thing on the same match to also get a yellow card, etc etc etc.

Since you don't see that this is happening, then at this point it's useless you and I to continue talking about this. We won't make any progress.
Perhaps some day we can continue this conversation, when we have some new happenings.
