Wenger proved to be such a stubborn donkey. He didn't want to go all defense at 1:1 with 10 men. He could have done it, but he didn't want to. Among some other factors, he was one of the main reasons why Arsenal lost this match.
Wenger started the match with the defense line in the middle of their half
WHY?????

Judging by his body language he did shoot the ball like he didn't gave a fuck and if he didn't heard the whistle I would've expected more ''unbelieve'' that he missed. I think he heard but just shot, dunno for sure though.

Roma
yup, by the way he shot the ball it suggested that he heard the whistle, but even though it was harsh to send him off for it.

Arsenal could have went all defensive. They still would have conceded.
They could have taken the game to penalties. Inter played more than 60 minutes with a man less and they conceded only one at the end of the game. Granted, Arsenal's defense isn't on Inter's level, but if Wenger put more bodies in the box, he might have done it. This way conceding 2 or more was just a matter of time.

Who was the idiot who thought the refs are helping Barca in CL.
Of course they're not.
If you factor in both legs, it evens itself out if i'm to be honest. RVP's red card was a rubbish decision, but then again so was the disallowed Messi goal in the first leg.

RVP shot the ball more or less knowing he is offside (not heard the call part, but shooting at frustration kinda thing), seen him do it before, act petulant, and players getting yellow for it, usually for first yellow, quite petty to give 2nd yellow for that, but acting like he did all game, not suprised that eventually happend. The penalty was clear, bit of a joke to say otherwise.

I REALLY dont get what Wenger was thinking, Arsenal neither played defensively or offensively enough to try to impact the game in any way in that direction. No urgency forward when needed, nor any defensive teamwork to shut down shut, they were in some weird middleground, where their defense was high as usual giving away chances in rapid rate (goalies and Djourou saving the day alot). Was laughable kept losing possession in seconds. Yeah Barca at home is toughest as it can get, but you either bunker down with discpline, or try to play your own offensive game, no half assed middleground that ensures you get owned even more. Pathetic.

The referee didn't hesitate for a second to give Van Persie a red. He knew that he's on a yellow, he was there and he listened too that 90k make incredible noice and that there is a strong chance Van Persie didn't hear the whistle, yet he gave him a red card a second after the Dutch hit the ball.
Would Villa or Messi get a red for the same thing? We all know, yes, we all know that they weren't gonna be red carded.
