Liverpool have sucked in the EPL for how many seasons yet they've won the CL. Porto could be classified in the same boat as Lyon, yet they won the CL. The best team doesn't always win the CL. You need a combination of a good team with depth, luck & determination to win the CL.

You can't deny they have a better squad then ours.

Thinking about it they have a strong team, but I would call the two teams even. You can't deny, that they suck this year and we play in a much stronger league.

BTW. Can't see your point about winning the CL or not. I didn't mention that.

No i think he meant player for player comparison. Arsenal & Lyon certainly have better players than ours, that's for sure. Also they have a better bench compared to ours.

Was kinda surprised with the Benfica - Lyon match but Benfica do have a decent team with some great individuals. Not sure about the Donetsk match though but i'll admit i was sweet to see Eduardo scoring.
