We all know what Ribery is capable of even if he has just returned from injury and has not hit top form yet. Did you see how he volleyed Thiago's corner? Its the same corner he did with Robben before but this time it was saved and Bayern scored on the rebound.

You'd rather Alonso start in the middle rather than Bernat? Alonso was never a fast player but he has always been a master passer. He wouldn't do many passing mistakes under pressure the way vidal and bernat do.
