Serious question lads.. Why is it that the Delle Apli is never filled to it's maximum capacity?

I heard it's something to do with the stadium being out of the way and not in the best of conditions.. is their any truth to this?

Yeah, there are a few reasons to it, and those are some of them.

Apoparantly, the stadium is pretty far from the town centre and almost in the middle of nowhere, and it's a bit hard to get to it. Also, the stadium itself isnt very fan-friendly, it's cold, windy and has a athletics track that keeps the fans far from the pitch. Also, not all people in Turin support Juventus ;)

It's pretty far from the central area and difficult to get to and from.
And the track around the playing field is doing damage to the atmosphere, pushing the crowd so far away..

We're the best supported club in Italy by far and when we've played elsewhere, for example in the San Siro in the 93/94 season, and other places as well, like Bologna, the games were 70.000+ sold out.

What it all comes down to is that it's a shame for the club that our stadium is the Delle Alpi.

Because we have the largest number of the fans in Italy, but not to many from Turin.
The other reason is because Delle Alpi is something about 10kms from the center of the town!

Am just irked by Capello's excuse of Juve being tired! I would have thought that we are professional enough to face any hurdle without silly excuses. And motivation is that for our players?
There are two things that will cost us this game:
1. Our players attitude
Are these guys professional or what? Why do they play like they are 100 years old! I've seen way older players perform with much more energy!
2. Our tactics just can't cut offensively. We can't just always wait for the opponents to make mistakes then we capitalise. Yesterdays lack of connection between our mid & forwards was appaling. sometimes you just feel like we will never score another goal. Cap put on your thinking cap.

I'm sure he's told the players differently. Capello strikes me as a man who says one thing to his players and another to the tabloids.

I'm only speculating, of course

I think it's just mind games.. Putting pressure on us and taking pressure off his team.

Yeah.

He had a set back on Friday and won't make it.

The players missing:

Sol
Cole
Lauren
Freddie

Reyes is 50/50.

RvP is back though :D
Wow, that's quite some injury list.
I feel more and more fortified by looking at it.

Ljungberg missing for Arsenal is like Nedved missing for Juve, don't you think?

I rate him a lot.

We can't play 4-5-1 without him.

He was so vital against Real, he's the only 1 with world class movement from midfield to attack, in a 4-5-1 he would make them bursts into the box and cause problems.. I don't see Cesc or Diaby doing it, in a 4-5-1.

It'll probably be a 4-4-2.

Freddie is a big blow, Sol isn't.

Don't tempt me.

I hope to god we get a replacement for him in the Summer, he's in decline and is disgustingly injury prone.

I also haven't forgiven him for walking out on us.

off topic, wenger really really screwed up by not signing jenas:agree:
