what worries me the most is that henry loves to attack on the left & we all know how vulnerable Juve are on the right.i mean who on earth is gonna cover thierry? zebina or balza ffs.

Zambrotta played after an injury yesterday, he'll br better on Tuesday. With Camoranesi also on the side, I think the two can contain the Frenchie.

we could not dominate at home against a team without their key players , do you expect to dominate away against a team playing at home with key players??
I dont think so , Arsenal 3 - Juve 1

the funny thing is this game is perfect for paddy and puma as they can press strongly in midfield to stiffle arsenal, as long as we contain their midfield runners we can get at thier defense

We have a bad record against EPL teams , remmember liverpool again ?
they dominated the game and we could not score except from a corner kick .
dp presence or injury will not make any difference IMO.

I think that we could easily beat Roma 2 or even 3-0 ,because we would crash them in the sec half...but Nedved's exclusion stagered our domination.

Roma have depth in their squad and they look very solid indeed without Totti. They're a bit faster without him it seems.
I know De Rossi and Chivu were missing as well, but as I said, they have squad depth and thus the ability to cope with injuries and suspensions.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they were to challenge for the Scudetto next season given they sign one or two important players during the summer.

One of their not so known benched players came on and grabbed himself a goal, which underlines all of the above, and also, might I add, the skill and tactical knowledge of their manager Luciano Spalletti, who seemingly knew what had to be done to get something out of the game.

As for us, we had a good game up until the sending off and even after that our players played some great positional play. Defensively, we had a very good game, something which calms me a great deal before the enounter at Highbury.
But we were always likely to draw this game with lesser players.

Playing Roma with 10 men was proper training and perhaps the sternest test we could have gotten beforehand, and I feel we passed it spankingly well. :agree:

I just realised something. The majority of those who are super confident, i dont think they've seen an Arsenal game for some time lol.

This reminds me soo much of the Real Madrid forums. My god those people are something else!

But im confident about the Juve game. I dont think they'll be able to perform under the fast temp we'll create, and it will be fast, rarely games at Higbury are not fast.

Even though i fear some of your players, i just cant stop imagining them getting creamed on the pitch by speed. Emerson, what is he going to when Hleb, or Reyes, or Gilberto gets passed him. He's going to stop running, get a telescope and see how the defence are handling them, thats what! lol.

Speed will be a HUGE factor. Ask any fan whose team have played us at Highbury, look at our games at Highbury..pick any match...its always fast temp. Quick passes and often through balls for the fast to run to.

Vieira, Emerson = not exactly the fast type. If you think they are, then your in for a surprise lol.

no you are missing the glaringly obvious point that emerson and vieira are very strong and the arse midfiled has struggled when they have came up against a strong bruising midfiled

i think we need 2 players to mark him
like Zibina (balza) and thuram
or something like that ,,,,,, remember Juvev against milan (last one) when cap owened Serginho in the second halt time when he was the most dangerous in milan sides and all the crosses came from his foot in the first half

No,we are not confident. You may see that many of the members here are coming up with some 1-3 or the most optimistic 1-1 predictions.

what about the fact in your sig brother?
we owned them in the olympico with all there keypalyers including totti

i think our performance in the calcio is something different and doesnt reflects the truth
the truth is we managed to beat BM with ten men
we owned WB in the lst round , though we were lucky to score the 2nd, but not to forget that WB considered to be one of the best offensive team in europe this season
we forced milan and got the draw which we all knew that it was the main target from that match in the last clash ,,, they were struggling to get the three points but they failed (as they did last season in san siro), juve succeeded in stopping them in there best form while juve were in the their worst form

even Liverpool last season ,,, they were lucky ,, not to forget the juve goal denied by the ref in that game which was enough to take juve to the next round

but in calcio we dont need more than we have already
leading the table with 8 poinst with 5 games lift is not something easy to achieve
specially in the prsence of the stubborn milan
