Arsenal have done very well in the cl , much to my surprise but if i am looking at it objectively they have had a very easy ride as their group was the easiest and Real Madrid are tailor made for Arsenal with Ronaldo being an absolute disgrace, a clearly unfit Raul and an increasingly aged looking Zidane. Henry got all the plaudits at Bernabeu but lets be fair , Real Madrid had a defence of jokers. Any team with Raul Bravo in the starting line up will not frighten a serieB team let alone a quick team like Arsenal
Having said all that, i believe Lehmann is probably the most in form goal keeper in the world right now, he is annoying and easily rattled but he is in great form, Eboue has been a revelation at right back and probably a better bet than Lauren. Toure is like Cannavaro without the plaudits that his wholeheated displays do deserve. Not too sure about Senderos and Campbell has not played well for a while. Left back is a real problem as Ashley Cole is a huge miss. I am not sure why most people are praising Hleb so much, if he was their main danger then i would not worry at all. He is good on the ball but he is wasteful in front of goal and he over passes the ball. Fabregas is really a wonder kid. Reyes is too in and out. Ljunberg is a danger and i thought he was immense against Real Mdrid and then we have the master in Henry. Make no mistake about it, he is very different from Sheva and Inzaghi, once he is away there is no catching him. His finishing is not as assured as it is against the lesser lights but any space at all and we will be punished. Thuram cannot live with him for pace, only Zambrotta can.
I have said it so many times, my main worry is the manager ,thats all if not , id have no problems with us qualifying but the manager's decisions make matches harder than they should
that's it in a nut-shell !!

IMO, we have the better players, but a worse manager

He doesnt know how and where (positions and tactics) to get the best out of his players

The 4-4-2 will not really change in Highbury, however Capello will star with DP as one of the forwards and Trezeguet the other with DP playing as a midfielder. It will be a typical 451 with two defensive midfielders, one play make and two wings. Mutu might not start and Pessotto will replace Nedved just like he did last year. Pessotto here might be good to make cover for Chiellini.
Totally disagrre about Pesooto's thing,It wont happen & u know it very well,Pesotto wont start in place of Neddy.Prbable formation:Zambo_Canna_Thram_Zebina(Balza or Chiellini)_Camo_Viera_Emerson_Mutu_Trezy_Ibra(Dp).Of course nothing is clear yet.We must wait 2 weaks!

I see that a lot of you hear have mentioned only 3 Gooners that you're worried about (Henry, Hleb and Lehman).

What do you lot think of Eboue, Fabregas, Kolo, Diaby and Pires?
Arsenal is a great team with 11 world class players in all positions. They play fast football. They have the Best striker in the WORLD.Eboue & Kolo Toure are 2 African fighters, they fight on every ball.Fabregas is great but he needs some experience.Pires was one of the best wings in football 2 years ago but this season he is a bit slow & he plays 1 match in top & 5 like crap but he has the experience to change a game though he is not a starter right now.Anyway I respect ur team a lot but Sorry WE R JUVE SO. GOOD LUCK next year man!

^^^^^Paragraphs? Hello?

Then you obviously don't know old boy. Kolo is possibly (after TH14) our best player this season.

Trust me, his arse does not ride the bench unless he's injured!

I have a question for you ,The Arser...we all know that Highbury's court size is much smaller than the fields of other stadiums...do you think this could be your great advantage against us??????

I know u were asking him but I definitly think that this small pitch is a huge advantage to us & to our way of playing.Believe me man this is the first game I want Capello to play his boring 4_4_2,it will help us a lot to dominate the midfield.Anyway u will se what I m talking about in the Game!

I wasn't predicting, I was stating how we should play. Predicting is kinda useless with Capello.

I hope you're right!
But they used to play at that pitch, while we are playing at one of the biggest terrains at home.

Good point whoever made it about the small pitch at the library. I don't know the exact specs, and I know there are minimum and maximum lengths and widths for professional football pitches but it would be interesting to compare the areas of say the Nou Camp and the libraryt o see the difference. Its a hell of an advantage for Arsenal as nobody is used to playing on such a small pitch particularly Italian teams who play in huge stadia with large pitches bordered by running tracks!

I can't wait till they move into the new 60k seat stadium with a proper pitch!!

Pessotto in the middle with Chiellini behind him is the perfect solution for Arsenal's wingers. I don't care about how much Pessotto has played, I know how experienced the guy is. I saw him last year against Madrid playing a very decent first half in that position.

Pires isn't in the starting 11...Neither Kolo or Diaby.
Seriously that is the most bullshit i have heard in ages!

After Henry Toure is the 2nd name put on the team sheet.

He is our 1ST DEFENDER! Ahead of everysingle defender on the field. He is one of the best defenders this season in the Premiership.

And lastly HE IS FUCKING WORLD CLASS.

Word of advise watch Arsenal games before you start talking shit about our team.

Don't think so mate. Don't get me wrong I'd love to be there but I simply don't know anyone that would want to go along, most people I know are eitherjust derby county fans (myself included) or Man Utd age old gloryhunters.. so not much hope, don't much fancy a long trip like that on my own!

A bit of friendly advice, calm down your tone or you won't last very long around here. You're right of course, Toure is a guaranteed starter atm but of course thats partly down to Sol Campbell's many problems
