The 4-4-2 will not really change in Highbury, however Capello will star with DP as one of the forwards and Trezeguet the other with DP playing as a midfielder. It will be a typical 451 with two defensive midfielders, one play make and two wings. Mutu might not start and Pessotto will replace Nedved just like he did last year. Pessotto here might be good to make cover for Chiellini.

Indeed. Just like they shut down Kaka and Sheva we can turn the lights off on Henry. He doesn't worry me and I don't believe he can do things by-himself. I trust our defenders. And they proved it last night.

Agreed about that,Rab:agree: ..our defence is like a bastion!!!And Buffon is ready-right on time.

Even if Arsenal will be better then Milan, dont be so negative !!!
Believe in your TEAM Andy...
What does my post have to do with believing in my team?

I wholeheartedly believe in my team, however, I do not believe in our manager in the Champions League. Simple as that.

Umm, Arsenal and Milan are quite different teams people. Milan is a bit slower in the buildup and has playmakers controlling their tempo. Arsenal is quicker and plays more one-two balls that will cause our defense more problems. Not to mention the formations and tactics aren't similar at all. Do NOT think this match will resemble the one played at the Delle Alpi over the weekend because these are absolutely two seperate teams we're talking about here.

I agree...

Arsenal is a much faster team than Milan, and this game will show no resemblance to the Juve-Milan draw

For this one I would go with

---------------------Buffon-----------------------
--Zambrotta--Thuram--Canna----Balzaretti--
-----------------Emerson------------------------
---Camoranesi------------------Vieira-------
------------------Ibrahimovic-----------------------------
-------------Del Piero (C)--Trezza-----------

I would hope that Vieira on the left will assist Balzi's inexperience against Hleb. Also, I would hope this can give us a goal or goals in the first half so that the poorer of the guys up front is subbed 4 Mutu to revert to a less open 4-4-2

I would expect such thing from Lippi,he would go for a goal(goals) and than revert the tactics.

But anyhow,I expect Zambrotta on the left and Zebina as a RB.

I see that a lot of you hear have mentioned only 3 Gooners that you're worried about (Henry, Hleb and Lehman).

What do you lot think of Eboue, Fabregas, Kolo, Diaby and Pires?

both teams (milan, arsenal) are organized but arsenal have more fast flowing football and much more pace

lehmann doesnt worry me one bit, even helb i dont think he has full understanding with the other players of arsenal. But he has good abilities that could cause problems. Luignberg is concern for me as he cuts inside many times.

RVP and Cambell would be back as many reports suggest, so Robin could cause some problems upfront although i dont think wenger would start with two strikers. And cambell is on very bad form this year. so our forwards can take him, toure has been on good form, but he always goes forward and leaves his position so this could be exploited.

Pires isn't in the starting 11...Neither Kolo or Diaby.

So you don't know much about us eh.

Kolo is a mainstay at the heart of our defence. When Sol comes back, Senderos will sit and Kolo stays in the middle.

I don't know wether Diaby or Pires will start but I know they'll be in the squad.

my brother is an arsenal fan so i see alot of them, i have to say, eboue is a very good player, he made robinho look like an idiot, fabregas is potentially a worldclass midfielder, kolo is a solid defender, diaby is in my opinion average, thouhg he is young, and pires was worldclass, but hasnt been great recently (the miss against pool was shocking)

Oh I do know son.

My point was when Sol will be back Senderos wont be available, don't know If Kolo will be put in the middle or not.

Arsenal have done very well in the cl , much to my surprise but if i am looking at it objectively they have had a very easy ride as their group was the easiest and Real Madrid are tailor made for Arsenal with Ronaldo being an absolute disgrace, a clearly unfit Raul and an increasingly aged looking Zidane. Henry got all the plaudits at Bernabeu but lets be fair , Real Madrid had a defence of jokers. Any team with Raul Bravo in the starting line up will not frighten a serieB team let alone a quick team like Arsenal
Having said all that, i believe Lehmann is probably the most in form goal keeper in the world right now, he is annoying and easily rattled but he is in great form, Eboue has been a revelation at right back and probably a better bet than Lauren. Toure is like Cannavaro without the plaudits that his wholeheated displays do deserve. Not too sure about Senderos and Campbell has not played well for a while. Left back is a real problem as Ashley Cole is a huge miss. I am not sure why most people are praising Hleb so much, if he was their main danger then i would not worry at all. He is good on the ball but he is wasteful in front of goal and he over passes the ball. Fabregas is really a wonder kid. Reyes is too in and out. Ljunberg is a danger and i thought he was immense against Real Mdrid and then we have the master in Henry. Make no mistake about it, he is very different from Sheva and Inzaghi, once he is away there is no catching him. His finishing is not as assured as it is against the lesser lights but any space at all and we will be punished. Thuram cannot live with him for pace, only Zambrotta can.
I have said it so many times, my main worry is the manager ,thats all if not , id have no problems with us qualifying but the manager's decisions make matches harder than they should

Then you obviously don't know old boy. Kolo is possibly (after TH14) our best player this season.

Trust me, his arse does not ride the bench unless he's injured!
