Because Arsenal will probably have the lead on aggregate and not be as adventerous away from Highbury, and with my inclination we will probably need a goal and the pace of play will be slower due to this circumstance...it allows Henry to have a little more space than he would in the first leg. The pace of play will be slower and we will need to take more chances in the second leg, thus perhaps losing track of Henry.

well in that case we have to hope our boys will come back from england with atleast draw.

Even b4 the draw - We were always gonna get a tough team.... I just dont know what 2 expect. I dont think I could live through Arsenal eliminating us. It commands the most support here @ varsity and I felt disgusted seeing their jersey in bulk all over campus on Thursday...If they win , I'll make like a grizzly and hibernate.

What's even more annoying is the Arsenal fans talk - they r already putting disclaimers on their statements - like "We are definately out", "we cant match such a big team" etc knowing fully that they can take us down and if they do say that they caused a giant killing and upset and if we eliminate them , they'll just say "What did you expect, we were'nt favourites anyway" .......Why me?

Don't let the Gooners upset ya..
It's gonna be two tight games but I can guarantee you that this Juve side, no matter what happens, is gonna make you proud in the quarter finals.
:agree:

well the solution of the dispute between this forum users,dp lovers - ibra lovers is only one:zlatan must leave(or die):D

Dp can play 90 min' but he can't run ,turn and dribble like zlatan, ofcourse he can score, thing that seem almoast impossible to zlatan :))))))))

so against arsenal ibra will play from start if he won't be injured, couse crap will still be coach

I think juve is favorite to pass this leg, couse the second match is in torino and trez will probably score at london ;)

anyway f ibra and his f misses and his supid brain and his stupid gameplay and his blodi caracter ,when he plays I wish ofcourse for him to score :Dand I love all Juventus players

arsenal - Juve 1 - 1 Henry ,Trez
Juve - arsenal 2 - 0 Trez ,Dp

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH BABY!!

Jens ignores record
Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann needs to keep one more cleansheet to equal the Champions League record, but he insists he isn’t giving it any thought. The Gunners have kept teams out in six consecutive games, taking them within a game to what Milan and Dida achieved last season. “Talking about the record means you’ll never achieve it,” said the former Rossoneri shot-stopper. “I didn’t worry about our young defence against Real Madrid because that’s what makes me more focused. To keep two cleans sheets against Real is a tremendous achievement with such an inexperienced defence.”

He led us to the Scudetto last season and he will in all likeliness do so again this season. Even though you disagree with his tactics in the last few games remember this fact, and also that we did defeat Bremen in the end.

what about the tactical approach to the Milan game at San Siro in May last season then? That was an excellent win and he did everything right tactically in that game. He's one of the main reasons we're closing in on the 3rd star the way I see it.

I'm not agitated at all, and I'm sorry if you feel I attacked you in any way. Maybe It was wrong to quote you. I was actually aiming that post at the horde of Capello haters among us.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, though, I have no problem with that...
Just showing some support for the Don!

thats one heck of a way to give a complement. Lets face it we won due 100% to a keeper howler. Yes the subs made an impact but most people on these forums were calling for Mutu and dp from the start, and rightly so!

Had we played appropriate tactics and personnel in both legs this should have been something in the regio of a 5-1 walkover. As it was we were extremely fortunate to get through and Capello was the biggest obstacle to our progress.
