I woke up this morning confident like never before that they'll finally sack Ferrara. It's beyond me that they're unable to pull that one.

What's even worse, they're blaming the injuries. Wth? Come on, at least pick another excuses. Like, um... we're simply sucks?

On a serious note, I don't believe Ferrara is the main problems here. Sure, he's one of the problems and I don't even need to explain why since many poster already had done so in this thread. Obviously, a boards that know nothing about football should GTFO before anyone else. So yeah, they can soap their disgusting-pathetic Il Progetto/The Project/Simpatia/La svolta etica, etc. for all I care.

The only reason why Ciro hasn't been canned yet is to rectify the fact they fired Ranieri and don't want to look like they were wrong. They are just hoping that Ciro turns it around. That is my guess, but firing Ranieri was the right thing too

I kinda think it's the other way around. He's a convenient and inexpensive whipping boy. He allows the inept board to deflect some criticism onto him, making Ciro more of a scapegoat. All the while, they don't have to pay for anything more than an inexperienced coach.

It's what a group of business thinkers would do -- and not a group of football thinkers.

We could have Saddam Hussein on the board, still its Ciro's job to make the guys perform on the bench. Its not the boards fault that we lose against teams like Chievo, Bari etc. And tbh, the board stepped up this summer and brought in great players and Im not disappointed with what they have done. They strengthened the squad but Ciro failed to make Melo perform like he does for Brazil and Viola, the defense and offense to perform at least as good as they did under Ranieri(who actually had exactly the same board).

Ciro Ferrara has once again been forgiven by the Juventus directors and will remain in charge of the team for the time being.

Following a meeting in Turin, to which involved Roberto Bettega, Jean-Claude Blanc and Alessio Secco, the Bianconeri boss was given yet more time to prove himself.

“It's all good,” were the only words followed by a smile from the Neapolitan after the meeting.

Bettega had more to say though: “Ferrara's smile wasn't a bluff. He is happy because he will remain in charge.

“The Board doesn't believe he is the problem.”

Juventus are expected to make large investments on the transfer market but guru Bettega denied any links.

“We won't be signing any players because we are just waiting for the ones who are injured to return.

“Momo Sissoko is our first capture. Mali have been knocked out and he will be back for the Roma game.”
