It is one thing to have players who are not capable of producing more and its another thing to have good players yet no results. We are sadly the latter case.

This Juve squad has great quality in it. Before the season kicked off everyone said Juventus are favorites for the title if not a long journey in the champions league. We were all bragging about how for the first time since calciopoli, Juve has a squad that can match Inter's in terms of quality. We were all thrilled that Inter's hero Ibrahimovic was sold and that they have to change their system of play entirely let alone have a completely new attacking line.

I am talking about potential. You are seriously mistaken if what we produce on the pitch is the full potential of the squad. I am completely satisfied and will not blame ciro or the management if our squad regularly performed up to their potential even if that potential is not winning the title.
I had no problems finishing second under ranieri as long as the team performed at its best.. he had to be sacked when he started to regularly perform under the team's full potential.
This year we are seriously performing below our full potential if not half of it.
Until I see what this squad can produce at its full potential under a serious coach i dont want new signings.

That is, until i see werder bremen's diego, last year's amauri, Fiorentina's melo, a starting & performing giovinco & marchisio and an above average grosso.

Sneijder is no way better or even an equal of Diego and amauri is by no means the worst striker in the world. Melo too is not inferior to Muntari at his worst and giovinco is not a bench warmer. Canna & grosso continued their madrid & lyon form which is not anything special however that was expected.. the others were unpredictable even by the best Psychics.

When these guys start performing along with the other players and we find that its still not enough to bid for the title THEN we should reinforce. Right now we are judging players when they are not themselves and we'll end up selling them and they might turn into big hits.
When your starting 11 performs the 5th best in serie a after being praised before the season as arguably the best then something is fucked up.

When will he finally be fired, this is rediculous, ok he is a legend, but if things don't change, even reaching the CL next season looks won't happen

i dont give a rats ass about what he did as a player. I now despise him as a manager the same way I despise platini in his big chair. Both legends but dont qualify for their jobs.

“We have many injuries, but that is not an alibi. There's no point hiding here. We are trying, everyone is giving their all in terms of effort, but the results are pitiful."

That is part of what chiellini said after the game last night. Now our problem was motivation and effort over the past few months but that wasn't the case against Chievo. That team was simply not good enough, they were kicked off the field by Chievo and couldn't compete. We always blamed Ciro about motivation but that wasn't the case as it was confirmed by Chiellini. Dismal performance nonetheless but its just too easy to blame Ciro for everything. Swag talked about the support he may don't have from the management which is important because that enables him to do his job better and it is important.

Overall scheme of things is different, but you have to consider the other factors as well. We bring in a new coach with this crap going with injuries and what not then i don't think we'll have the expected level of change here.

And thats the most important point here. Everyone is talking like Guus is on the wings just ready to come in but Ciro is stopping him because hes not resigning. But from the statements and reports that is very wrong. There is no proper replacement lined up by the management. And for me i don't want us to bring in a coach that will have the same effect Donadoni had on Napoli for example.
Its easy just to say alright we'll bring in someone to get us to the CL places then a better coach in the summer. But reality is different, getting this wrong can have a detrimental effect not only on this season but also the next one.
Top post, as usual.
