That's because Ciro is incompetent and should have been fired after the Bayern Game.
Is he still on the boat?!
Ferrara has had the misfortune of being offered a job of this stature before his time. On accepting it without an agenda of his own, he's also unfortunate to have been guided under the tenure of people who are less aware and more incompetent than him. To make matters even worse he has had no luck in terms of player availability for a better part of the season. His inabilities are clear, but then again, he never came with any guarantees. Not the ones a team like Juventus is looking for anyway. And he's not to blame for that.
i don't know what the logic/reasoning is behind the boards current stance on not firing Ciro yet, but the only obvious point is that they may not have anyone better to replace him with at the moment. beyond that its all speculation on the decision making or lack of decision making on the boards part. a lot of you may think he should be a man and resign but why? its his job until he is replaced or he leaves on his own accord. any one of you would take the same approach at your own jobs. until the management fields a suitable replacement they will not fire Ciro because everyone knows that it won't make things any better. Sacking him for the sake of things isn't the answer here. The club is in a real dilemma and doesn't need to complicate things even more by making rash decisions.
