Ciro Ferrara won't resign and feels he can turn Juventus around, but concedes he will “accept any decision” from the club.

“Evidently the 3-0 result is clear and came about through three set plays, something that has also cost us in other games. By that stage we didn't even have the strength to react,” he said of the 3-0 home defeat to Milan.

“This is a very difficult moment in which we tend to be punished at the first chance. It's true we didn't create much, but we also kept Milan down too and it took a dead ball situation to break the deadlock.”

The Coach opted for a new 4-4-1-1 system, but it failed to solve their issues.

“We often went with long balls that were difficult for Amauri to deal with. With this system we need a lot of pressure down the flanks, which allows us to run fewer risks at the back and creates a few more problems for us going forward.

“We tried to change and clearly it did not go well. I changed in part because of the players who were missing, so it was to some degree a forced decision. I opted to go down this path and take full responsibility.”

Guus Hiddink remains in the background as a potential replacement for Ferrara and the fans staged protests during the final minutes of the match, setting fire to the stadium seats.

“I don't think that I risk my job. I am far more concentrated on what we need to do in order to turn around this negative situation,” noted Ferrara.

“The rest is not up to me and I don't make those decisions. I try to do all I can to overcome this bad moment, then I will accept any decision.

“I am not the kind of person who abandons the ship. It's not my style and I will try to turn this around.

“I understand the disappointment of the fans. Our attitude must change their minds and the way things are going. Everyone is disappointed and we're sorry for that.

“I don't think it would be wise to set targets right now other than to recreate the enthusiasm with which we started the campaign and then build from there.”
flanks ?? we had Sali and Marchi playing out of position on the flanks, there's the first fucking problem, ZERO

Obviously Ciro wont resign, the world is going through crises. Thousands and thousands of people are loosing their jobs and are left empty-handed. The way Ciro is going on, he has no hope for next coaching job. So his f--ked up as well. Thats why he wont resign.

To suggest anything like that is stupid, his coaching travesties do not somehow nullify his excellence as a player and a bianconero
as player maybe but he is not a Juventus legend anymore. when he decided to stay even though he(and everybody) knew that we will stay in mud as long as he is coaching the team, his legend status as bianconero has ended.

He talks about the flanks? Dude, you have Giovinco and you never give him the chance. Stop making stuff up, we all know why you play with Sali and Marchisio on the flanks. DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE, boring catenaccio style. :(

No, Ferrara. With this system you need good PLAYERS on the flanks who are actually used to PLAYING on the flanks.

You know, it's really scary what Ferrara says at times regarding tactics. I honestly think some people here have a better understanding of that part of the game than Ciro.

I'm not sure Turk.
Maybe, just maybe, he did want to quit but the directors asked him to stay (because they couldn't find a new coach and they don't want to appoint another inexperienced coach).

Probably not, but it's a possibility and since I don't know what's really happening, I won't blame him for not leaving.
