I have dug something said by Ancelotti that brought my attention:
“Both Coaches paid the price for inexperience, but in different ways. In Milan’s case, Leonardo is young, but the directors are the same they always were.
“Ferrara didn’t only have to deal with his own inexperience, but also that of a young group of directors and the difficulty he found in getting some good advice.”
That might be our problem then. But I guess we still have to blame it all on Ferrara, and not on his coaching staff, players (*cough* Melo *cough*) or Board.
But I feel sorry for the guy. While others might see his reluctance to resign as an annoyance, I actually respect him for that. Any coach that cares about his reputation would have left Juve months ago, after seeing players like Melo play like a child after the club has paid millions for him. Yet Ferrara stayed and tried alternative after alternative. You can't accuse him of the wrong tactics, because if you might suggest a tactic, it has most probably been tried. The 4-3-1-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2, 4-3-3, only the former has seen success but only in the early games of the season when you guys were actually praising the guy. And you certainly can't blame him for making the wrong choices, as he with the injury list so long, he had none. And for those who cried 'BRING ON ALEX', you were reminded why he was benched.
The best that could happen for this guy is that he is sacked or asked to leave. You can't deny the fact that this guy is a Juve player at heart and he is hurt at seeing the team play horribly as much as we all do.
