If you think that way, you will never hire a top ranking Coach (probably ever) in the future. In every decision there is a risk and thats where the "experience" of the management comes in. Our guys just can't take real decisions not just in this case but in almost everything else related to the club (and the examples are many).

Look, the club have spent a "fortune" so far on players who could not add anything or improve our team (and we continue to do so) because we still can't create a real "team".

So what is smarter, to continue wasting more and more money on players that we might not necessary need or spend part of that money on hiring a WC coach who allready proved that he can create a well orginized teams that performed pretty well ?!

Hiddink is known to get the best out of he's players and right now almost all of our players are under-performing (he's exactly the kind of coaches that we need ATM).

No need to point out the possible benefits to sign Hiddink, because I know them very well. We just need to be aware of the fact that there are also (financial) risks involved.

Just look at the bit in your post that I highlighted: we have taken risks in the past (Andrade being the prime example, but there are far too many others) that have not turned out well.
Maybe the management felt that the risk (from a financial point of view) of getting Hiddink right now was too high, compared to the (likely) benefits. It wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

None of us knows what exactly happened in these negotiations. Heck, we don't even know if they happened at all. But just because we're in a difficult moment right now, doesn't mean that we have to agree to whatever a new coach might want.

Thuram: Juve should trust Ferrara Thursday 21 January, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Former Juventus defender Lilian Thuram believes the Bianconeri should have more faith in Ciro Ferrara.

Juventus have been in crisis ever since they were knocked out of the Champions League in December.

The Turin giants lost to Chievo on Sunday and were pushed out of the top four in Serie A.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Thuram said: “It's typical of Italy to take it up with the Coach when the team loses some games.

“I don't think it's the right way to face the situation.

“In my opinion Ferrara is a very capable person. He played with Juventus for a long time and they need to give him faith. Let him work.”

The 38-year-old World Cup winner then lent his support to Juventus President Jean-Claude Blanc.

“I have no doubt about the quality of Blanc who has done very well up until now. What I don't like about your country is that, in case of problems, you always focus on those who have little to do directly with the condition of the team.”

Yes, lets give him more faith to destroy our team cuz he was a player for us for a long time. Lets forget that he's a bad coach and lets forget his results, just concentrate on his time as a defender with us cuz obviously.. good player=good coach.

Fuck u Thuram.

Of you want the best you need to pay more...we used to pay 5mil/y to crapello 5 years ago.
Capello >>>> Guus. Plus, we used to pay ~4 mln/season for Capello when we were much better financially.

IMO, best coaches of all time:

1- Trapattoni
2- Lippi = 2'- Capello
4- Alex Ferguson
5- Arsene Wenger

I don't understand why Italian tacticians are always criticized here even though we all know, even Englishmen, that they are the best in the world. I just hope we get Prandelli next season.

I think that it was 5 mil/y to crapello.

I have never criticized Italian coaches except Ranieri,Zacherroni and now Ferrara.
I don't like crapello like a man,but he is a good coach...and Lippi is the best in my opinion.
