This is my first post here, although I've been following the boards for months now. So go easy one me please.

Ok. I am writing this answering those who would say that we Shouldn't change the coach.
I completly understand that the players suck, they play without heart, that Secco is an idiot...etc.

But lets just look at some facts first:

-Ranieri had a much weaker team. He lost 6 games in all of our Serie A matches. We've already lost 7.

-We've been beaten by teams that are BY FACT much weaker than us in every single position. Name me ONE Chievo player who is better than ONE Juve player. There are non. Which means that with or without a manager we should easily beat them. the fact that we ddin't means there is no tactical awareness WHATSOEVER, which goes back to the manager.

So the fact is we HAVE to blame the manager.
We are out of the champions league, we'll be fifth place tonight, and we have been humiliated over 5 times.. All things that didn't occur under a terrible manager, Ranieri, who most of you wanted out right away. A manager who did MUCH better with a MUCH worse team.

And then to anoither point.
This manager has failed to use a single formation.
It is managerial basics that players actuallly need time to adapt to a formation. This manager changes the formation everytime we lose a match.
How is that even possible?? At least Ranieri had one and stuck to it through thick and thin.
And the ONE formation that works.. he drops.. and why? No one knows.
Our best, most influential player on the field, Giovinco barely gets a chance, while Marchisio who is actually a central Midfielder gets brutally thrown on the left to do Giovinco's job. WHY THE HELL?
We have the Italy's best winger and we don't play him.. is he BLIND?
And Amauri... who hasn't scored for months and months and yet gets chosen over Immobile time and time again.

And then we should come to Ferrara's transfer strategy.
Yes, I know, Secco makes the decisions.
But Ferrara actually stated in an interview concerning the January transfer window that we are covered at the back and we don't need any more reiforcements in that department. Is he serious? Is that what he calls a covered backline??
We have eight defenders.. HA HA HA.

So.. the fact is we NEED a new managr. Not even someone like Hiddink. but someone who at least knows the basics of management.
Yes, we do have a bad team. but not a terrible team.
We have the world's best goalkeeper, the world's best defender, a starting Brazilian Defensive Midfielder, the Bundesliga's best player, one of Italy's two biggest prospects in Giovinco and Marchisio, and Juve's alltime best striker.
We should beat Chievo with those six players blindfolded.

Don't be blinded by your love for Ferrara.
Excellent first post mate, welcome to the forums

Ferrara: 'Tell me if I'm the problem'

Sunday 17 January, 2010

Juventus boss Ciro Ferrara is refusing to resign, but admits “if the Coach is the problem then the club will tell me.”

The Bianconeri plummeted out of the top three after today's 1-0 defeat at Chievo and many wonder how long he'll continue to stay on the bench.

“I try to analyse the situation and every aspect of it. The lads are downhearted when the results do not arrive, that is only to be expected,” Ferrara told Sky Italia television.

“I cannot know how our directors evaluate the squad, Coach and club. Everyone needs to examine every option and if they consider the Coach to be the problem, then I'm sure they'll come and tell me.

“There have been talks of course over the season, but no, I have never directly been told that I am a problem.

“To anyone who is used to seeing Juventus win, of course it will seem very strange. I am convinced the team has quality and must find out why at the moment they cannot express those qualities.

“If the problem is the Coach who cannot get the best out of his players, then I would clearly try to take responsibility for my errors. The club will evaluate and make a judgement.

“I'm trying to find the solution, it's true that seven defeats are unusual for Juventus, but with the players at my disposal I aim to improve and give them more self-belief.”

If Napoli beat Palermo this evening, then Juve will be knocked out of the Champions League spots.

“I still believe, absolutely. Despite a truly difficult period that even I would never have expected, I firmly believe in this Juventus. I realise that's difficult to say in front of the cameras and the fans, but I won't give in.

“In all honesty, this is a negative period and I don't want to find alibis or excuses, even if we have some important absentees.

“I had a small squad at my disposal today, but they tried to give their best. It's true we conceded the goal and did not react very well, though in the second half we pinned Chievo back.

“There were few scoring opportunities even when we threw on another striker. Certainly playing a game like this on a frozen pitch is not worthy of Serie A either, although of course the field was the same for Chievo too.

“There are some players who aren't in great shape, but I have few options to choose from. Some might need a rest, but we cannot afford it right now.”

I become more depressed the more I hear Ciro talk. He will be the reason I might start seeing a shrink. The guy lacks the minmum football knowledge and the team looks lost on the pitch. We had no one organised attack, we lack tactics, players out of position all the time, and they players overlap each other and don't know what to do with the football or how to buildup an attack. I have seen more organised street football than this, It's not hard to see that he is our main problem. The guy is not fit to be a coach, he should have some dignity and resign.

Ciro's Highlights:

1) Palermo vs Juventus 2-0; Raped be a pastor and a midget. Comprehensive defeat.
2) Juventus vs Napoli 2-3; Hamsik strikes again. 3 goals conceded in 15 minutes while leadeing 2-0!
3) Cagliari vs Juventus 2-0; Did the team bother showing up?
4) Bari vs Juventus 3-1; Another amazing performance. How did we manage to score?
5) Juventus vs Catania 1-2; always lending a helping hand to those in need; that's the Juve way. Losing 3 points at home to rock bottom Catania. It was for charity.
6) Juventus vs Milan 0-3; no harm in losing embarrassingly to your rivals at home and boosting their chances in the Scudetto race while effectively eliminating yourself from it. How noble. Oh, did I mention corner kicks?
7) Chievo vs Juventus 1-0; first defeat ever against Chievo away from home. Keep setting those records Ciro; oh, but of course, it was an icy pitch.
8) Bordeaux vs Juventus 2-0; a nightmare from set pieces and players being deployed out of position.
9) Juventus vs Bayern 1-4; the worst home defeat in European competition in over 50 years. Score first, capitulate, and get eliminated. You make me proud Ciro.

Captain Ciro was able successfully in steering our ship into an iceberg.
This banner is from today's match, a very clever one with juve the ship to the right while roma and napoli the ships in the middle and to the left. It's showing un steering in the wrong way.
