You are joking right? You can't blame the players, at least to some extent? I really don't know what to say (and yet I'm still gonna bitch about it a bit ;)).
Nice way of taking away all the players' responsabilities. Giving them a free pass is clearly the wrong way to go right now.

I guess we win games thanks to our great players. But when we lose games it's because of our clueless manager. Shared responsabilities mate!

All of this takes me back to the Ranieri era.
At first everything was good (great even imo). Then there came a time when everything turned to shit: Ranieri lost the dressing room and had to be replaced. It was his fault we weren't performing anymore & the players were never criticised.
Ferrara takes over, does good for a little while. Things turn to shit: it's his fault and we should replace him. We, once again, should not blame the players for this.

I just can't agree with that anymore. I'll be the first to admit that I wanted Ranieri out late last season. It was obvious we couldn't continue any longer. It never really crossed my mind back then that there may have been a problem with our group of players, since it was really the first time that we played in such a lacklustre way for many consecutive games.
Fast forward to today and we are, once again, playing lacklustre, as if we don't even care.
This group of players does not deserve a 2nd free pass, only a couple months after the Ranieri dismissal.

Note: I'm not sure about Ferrara's qualities as a manager and I don't want to defend him (especially since he has made some weird decisions/choices) but I for one am sick of the fact that Ciro (or the management) has to shoulder all the blame, while our team of primadonna football players have done very little so far (this season) to earn their hefty pay checks (some players excluded obviously).

Sorry for this rant.
When you've lost as much as Ciro has done this far, its his fault. Sure, the players have some responsibility of course but Ciro has turned a great squad and the best we've had since Calciopoli to one of the worst ever. I mean, you've seen how we play this far. We're playing like headless chickens out there. I just have a hard time believing that our players have magically just become bad players..

He is definitely a better option/choice than Lippi.
Hiddink is the best choice available and also at all IMO but it doesn`t mean he is the only one who can make it work again
Lippi and Capello are certainly great managers and they could make it work too

I agree Hiddink should be our top priority but if we don`t get him then those 2 are my favourites

even when the players have to take some responsibility it is again ciro who should have the nuts to f*cking bench those lacklustre faggots and play a primavera player who at least gives his heart on the pitch.

even if ciro benched more than half of the squad and filled it with primavera players we would hardly lose against the teams we lost. at least the primavera players had a good season preparation and should be really fit.

i think the core that has to remain and that showed that they are not lacklustre consist of gigi, canna, chiellini, caceres, diego
now put in the likes of trez as poacher, marchisio who surely has enough heart and poulsen and we only have to use 3 primavera players to use.

that was about the motivation and heart, but still the cluelessness can only be down to ferrara, because if you are a coach and a player does not do exactly what you tell him too, you just bench him. ciro is really too much of a pussy to bench the "stars" i think

it was a calculated gamble by the board, you can't say it's their "fault" that it didn't pay off...the team's performances, however, are primarily the coach's responsibility

Yes ,because even scolari turned us down.:sergio:
Boy we're soooo down....
 You ready, read this:

Giampaolo then reflected on his dismissal from Siena.

“In the summer I met President Stronati. I was of the idea that the case of our relationship was closed. Instead, the President made the choice to plan for the season, where I should be the point of departure. We started again, but at the first sign of difficulty Stronati gave up on me.”

Finally Giampaolo recalled being interviewed for the Juventus job in the summer.

“They considered Ferrara more suitable. It's gone like that and I don't regret anything. Actually, the fact I was taken into consideration makes me proud.
