Every team needs a Sissoko in their team. But the problem is we had 3 types of players like him and now one is gone to Liverpool.

Sissoko is not in a good form but when he is, he plays anything but crap football.
Does Inter have a Sissoko? No, they don't. They have a Cambiasshole who can pass the ball. Does Bayern have a Sissoko? No, they have two good two-way CM's in VB and Bastian. Does Barca have a Sissoko? No, they don't. They have a Busquets who while being a limited player can at least make simple passes.

Sorry, but nobody needs a one-dimensional player like Sissoko. Anybody place a bid for him lately? Nope.

Being injured means being unprofessional?
No, but fasting is quite unprofessional. No matter what the religious nuts claim, not having proper meals for a footballer or any athlete is detrimental. No doctor is going to tell someone who needs to lose weight to skip meals to accompany a work out. And they certainly wouldn't say that to an athlete who needs all the nutritional supplement he can get.

I don't agree. I believe it will be unprofessional for a company to not respect their employee's religion and beliefs.

What if Sissoko's family was filled with alcoholics and he was brought up to drink daily? Should we allow him to show up drunk to night matches because that is family tradition and belief?

No, of course not.

What if he was from some tribe who believed in smoking marijuana?

Fact of the matter is, this is a football club, not a charity. These players are PAID to follow a regiment, PAID to perform.

All what u said is completely right, but u have to know that fasting is not bad to health unlike alcoholics or smoking.A footballer can play normally while fasting PROVIDING following a special diet during the night, and this what exactly Real madrid did to their muslim players last season, they provided the players with Dietitians who helped them in that.
