We love to buy average mediocre players. Things like this Poulsen/Tiago drama happen as a result. We end up on the losing end of an already piss poor and not thought out well decision.

We pay their transfers, then their wages, when they underperform and realize no one will take them because they were overpaid or if they do its at a fraction of the cost of what we paid for them. Now we are stuck with shitty players and starting even shittier ones when we should have bit the bullet the first time around and spend a few million more when we had the chance.

If you calculate the costs incurred over time from these kinds of players then you see that the cost of having them farrrrrrrrrrrr outweighs anything good they may have done in this jersey.

I might be wrong with this, but if Krasic comes, then you are looking at a midfield of


Krasic-Melo/Sissoko-Marchisio-Pepe/Martinez




Krasic and whomever plays on the other side will primarily be in attack. Marchisio, although a CM, will be pushing further up the pitch to take advantage of his offensive skills.

That will leave Melo or Sissoko as the last line in the midfield before the defence.

Sissoko is always injured, Melo is good for at least 3 red cards a season, so who does that leave?

The thought of either one of those two being the anchor, and the calming force of the midfield just scares me.

If its an issue of salary, then just restructure the contract, if that is the case.

I hope to god that they reinforce the LB position and get another CB as a reserve, because the thought of teams counter attacking against that midfield could be a nightmare waiting to happen

As far as I can tell, Juve feel the need to get rid of a player or two to make room for new arrivals and Poulsen is the only one that anyone seems to want to buy.

I am totally with you, I am actually one of the very few who wants Poulsen to stay. Well of course I post shit like we should give him a contract extension and a pay raise but what do you want to reply to all the hate being spilled on him and his "high wages"? If you think the prospects of defending against counterattacks are scary, just ponder the possibilities when WE have the ball. That midfield isn't going to create shit unless Krasic turns out to be an amazing player.
