Maybe its just me, but I don't see the reasoning behind this.

He's probably the most composed CM that Juve has. Melo is a reckless time bomb, Sissoko is just not, well, I don't know. He's more athlete than a player.

This doesn't make much sense, especially considering that 4-4-2 is now the preferred formation.

I must be missing something here.

Poulsen's not perfect, by any means, but he certianly isn't horrible either
The reason behind it is that we need money, he is still attractive to buyers, he is on a huge wage and he hasn't really shown enough to deserve to stay.

What has Melo shown??

A propensity to make terrible passes, even worse tackles, and a reckless attitude that hurts the team

Why recall our own player when we can spend millions signing another mediocre player as a backup instead of using our own players.

Oh, I forgot...they are off in the neverending search for wisdom and experience. Some will make it back alive, some won't.

Dude, our club just hires rogue traders to manage transfers. They're trying to squeeze as much money out of every deal, regardless of who it hurts, especially the players and the team.

You could say the same about half the team, Boksic.

I think Juve should keep Poulsen, for reasons other have already explained in this same topic.
The fact is though that we have struggled to sell players. Nobody wants half of our team (especially the half which are not essential to our team).

Poulsen is marketable and his affect on the team is marginal.

Because Sissoko oozes football talent each time he plays.
An on form Sissoko and Melo are more effective than Poulsen IMO.

In Melo's case, he has shown he can be a big player for us (eg Roma away), he had a bad season so did most others, but he deserves at least one more to prove himself.

We both know the period when Sissoko did great.

When did we see something like that coming from Poulsen?
Again, for the e^25th time, he was the only central midfielder besides Marchisio to show calmness and usefulness last season. Yes, he had a lot positive matches last year when he was solid as a DM. Poulsen has gotten better while Sissoko keeps getting worse. That's not a good trend.

    Then I guess I'm blind.

Poulsen was always on the same level in my books, same piss-poor level where he shows absolutely nothing.

But oh well, good to see him being sold finally.
