that's what some people on here want. Our only 2 CMs (Tiago and Poulsen) who can really pass and are they first two people want out this summer.

I don't understand how people can justify selling those two while keeping Momo who can't pass & Melo who is about as mentally stable as Zebina
I guess some just like being totally clueless with the ball in midfield. I admit, it makes for a humorous match at times.

We can get more money from Sissoko that's for sure.

what did we pay for him & what are we looking for for him?

I think surely it must be looking for about £7M at least.
You guys paid 10 million euros. We will probably pay 7 at the very most. Though if the price goes too high, Roy may just decide to go with Parker.

It seems to me Sissoko would be the better sell for Juve. I'm sure some La Liga team would be eager to have him to add a destructive presence to the midfield.
Sissoko will definitely bring more on a transfer fee THIS summer, but long term planning makes Poulsen a more logical sale.

Poulsen's contract expires in 2 years. If we sell him next summer then teams won't offer much considering how he'll have only a year left on his contract and he can even use article 17 if he wishes.
Also, his wages are almost a million higher than Sissoko's. Plus, Poulsen is 30 now and this summer is definitely the last chance to earn something on him.
Next summer he might not cost more than 2 million. Right now we can get at least 5m and get rid of his huge wages.

Juve's options are to keep him till the end of his contract or sell him right now, because selling him next summer won't make any sense.

We paid 9.75m eur when he was 28. Now he's 30, not wanted by the club (other teams know this) and he has huge wages which the new buyer will probably have to match.
I doubt we can get 7m eur for him. If Marotta does that then he's a genius.
I won't be surprised at all if we sell him for something like 3.5-4m eur. 5 million maximum.

We need 4 capable CM's.
Marchisio and Poulsen are the only two CMs who are in any way composed on the ball. I am excluding Ekdal, as he is out on loan again from what I have been reading.

Melo is harder to judge than Momo. The Malian has always been suspect with the ball at his feet, its just a shame he has sunk to such self destructive depths whilst with us. Again, this suggest our coaching set-up has not been satisfactory for a long time. As for Melo...I don't know what to think. One thing is for sure; his mind is not Right. Perhaps this can be improved. I hope so. As he has lost so much value since we signed him, that we will lose hugely if he is sold this summer. Now and then, Felipe tackles wonderfully and passes with flair. But those moments were so few and far between that like Momo, but for different reasons, he caused more harm than good.

On last season's showing, Poulsen is more useful to us than Melo and Momo. He could be a deschamps, with the right coaching. Tackle, play the ball short and simple. With Marchisio more box to box...
