He's been utterly useless. I cant remember a single highlight from his entire stay with us. I don't know why they buy players like him when you already have the likes of Blasi and Nocerino who have pretty much the same impact on the team, if not better.

Blasi isn't better than Poulsen. Nocerino isn't any better either. Those two players did nothing but fuck up our play, but at least Poulsen can complete passes.

Sure, if you mean complete passes back to defenders and goalkeeper. His passes never led to anything. And I don't think he's better than Blasi and Nocerino. I'd put them all in the same category really. I guess Poulsen has a better hair than the other two...

Its easy really. Why should the club pay around 7/10 mil and a huge salary that other clubs cant match for a player that has added absolutely fuck all, when they could use that money on a usefull player instead, and just let the likes of Nocerino and Blasi do the same fuck all that Poulsen has done for a whole lot cheaper.

Are you really telling me that Blasi and Nocerino are as good as Poulsen when it comes to positioning, passing, tackling and reading the game?

I think Juve paid around 10m euros for him two years ago, I think, and that seemed an okay price at the time.

I'd say about 6-7m would be fair now.

As with Tiago, and some of our other players...Poulsen has rarely been used in a formation, alongside the kind of players, which will bring out his best qualities. It wouldn't surprise me to see him excel at another club, probably a top level club at that. Same with Tiago. who is a different player with Madrid, than he ever has been with us. The madrid Tiago seems much more similar to the Lyon and Chelsea Tiago.

Our management structure, coaching of both seniors and youngsters, transfer policy, have all been very poor for the last few years. with that in min, it makes it hard for me to call any one of our players Definitely Awful.

in terms of a tidy, defensive midfielder, I don't see anyone more accomplished and safe than him, in our squad, for that role. if he stays, he will be backup, but a solid backup. Melo and Momo are far more risky in front of the defence. Marchisio is more useful in a central role, would be wasted deployed just as a defensive mid.

No matter what you think of Poulsen's time at Juve he is clearly a better player than Nocerino, Blasi.

I can understand wanting him to leave but don't be ridiculous.

His point is that he hasn't made any kind of impact, at least nothing more than the two he mentioned to be worthy of what he gets paid. Poulsen hasn't played enough I suppose.

Amauri's record wasn't that great nor was he proven at the highest stage. Plus, he can still do well with us me thinks. Tiago, I don't know. I guess it's just the timing of their arrivals at Juve.

The Poulsen signing was lunacy at the time, as Alonso appeared keen to join us. We went from looking at a world class, deep lying playmaker, to an established dog of war.

A little similar to last summer, when we were close to d'agostino, got fed up with the udinese ooing and ahhing...then spent big on Melo. Who is a different kind of player to D'agostino.

Strange to see a club aiming for a certain kind of player, missing out on him, and instead signing a completely different kind of player.

With Tiago and Poulsen, I am unsure whether they have failed us more than we have failed them, as a club, with the conditions they have been working with. As lets be honest, especially last season, Ciro's 'team' was an absolute shambles, which made even our better players, look regularly ordinary or wretched.

We opted to buy Poulsen instead of Xavi Alonso because, "he is to slow for serie a" - Claudio Ranieri :sergio:

I thought the board couldn't come to a deal with Liverpool over the transfer fee so knee jerked and chose Poulsen to fulfill their promise over a top CM.
