Getting Xabi would have been fantastic, one of my favorite midfielders, sad that he went to real. Anyway, I hope we don't sell Poulsen and instead of him we sell Sissoko.

poulsen, melo, sissoko, marchisio is good cover for the 2 spots.

if we kept ekdal then selling one of sissoko or poulsen would have been ok.

Sissoko is not, he can't play football and considering we are a football team he is not good as a backup.

I seriously don't understand how can people want players with 0 football skills in the team. He is an athlete not a football player.

Report: Liverpool talking to Poulsen

Tuesday 3 August, 2010

Italian media report that Juventus have given Liverpool permission to talk to Christian Poulsen.

The rumour that the midfielder is a prime target for The Reds has been circulating for several days.

According to Sky Sport Italia this evening, Juve have formally given Liverpool permission to talk to the Danish international.

Poulsen does not enter into Coach Gigi Del Neri’s plans and he is one of the players on the transfer list, along with Fabio Grosso, Mauro Camoranesi and others.

The 30-year-old has worked with Roy Hodgson before in Denmark and it’s reported Juve will wait for personal terms to be agreed before discussing his transfer fee.

And then they sign Krasic.

Sissoko - Marchisio central midfield. The performances will be boring and we'll have trouble moving the ball around like usual.

We don't evolve as a club.

It seems to me Sissoko would be the better sell for Juve. I'm sure some La Liga team would be eager to have him to add a destructive presence to the midfield.

Sissoko would be a better sell, but then we'd lose a destroyer. This is Juventus, we can't survive as a team without at least 25 destroyers and/or people with limited ball skills.

that's what some people on here want. Our only 2 CMs (Tiago and Poulsen) who can really pass and are they first two people want out this summer.

I don't understand how people can justify selling those two while keeping Momo who can't pass & Melo who is about as mentally stable as Zebina
