from the young age they become hafizes, then they are not able to leave their house at night, hangout with friends, what the odds for the human that was born and raised in this lifestyle to commit a crime? very low i'd say, they are kinda puritans
but there are many stories when muslim women sucide became suicide bombers

This reminded me about Israeil vs Palestine. A conflict that was active for many years and millions of innocent people died and still haven't got as much attention like what is going on in France right now.

That's not true, is it? It regularly gets attention and from time to time the papers are full of it. It's just not as fresh as. This is how the media works. Hell, the middle east conflict is an unesco world heritage by now.

They can't do shit. It's not their fault anyway. Sure it's good to speak out and state your position but that's not gonna change anything.

Man, Hitler should've executed muslims instead of Jews.
Chances are pretty good he did, don't you think? Also, why on Earth would you say that?

This. This only means that all muslims are potentially terrorists unless they explicitly separate themselves from the horrendous actions of others. For the shit which is happening in the middle-east and is directly related to what American governments have been doing in that region for a long time, who has ever asked American people to separate themselves from "American crimes" committed by democratically elected American governments? Funny thing is however that American people should actually feel responsible for choosing criminals such as Bush to be their presidents.

This is absolutely disgusting. After what happened in Sydney this #iwillridewithyou went viral and people were like, see, even though these barbarians are killing us and taking our people hostage, we are still so cute that we offer our help and protection to them. Fact is, the real barbarians are those who are living in this very democratic west who force you to be human enough to stand by people who are ridiculed, threatened and marginalized for the crimes totally unrelated to them.

Funny. The real barbarians aren't the ones going into offices and killing people for making jokes. No, it's the people in the west who do nothing to improve the situation of muslims... It is precisely this complete lack of ever feeling even the slightest bit accountable that I find very hard to swallow. This neverending story of feeling hard done by. Ugh. Add to that the fact that 9 out of 10 Jihadis are probably receiving welfare in Europe.

Society isn't killing people. It's not my fault someone goes off to Syria to fight, joins IS or becomes a Jihadi in downton Paris. It's the parents. The neighbours. The friends. And yes, they're muslims. Perhaps you could start finding reasons why Islam is the ONLY religion today being linked with terrorism on such a regular basis, instead of trying to tell the West is responsible.

As always.

The amount of people I'm seeing trying to say "they started it" or some other justification is too much :sergio:
@Lion, what is your nationality? Just curious.
It is incredible. In a minute or two all this shit is going to be my fault. For, you know, being white and all.

@ReBeL i think i know what you are trying to say but the way you phrased makes you sound whiny and delusional, following the gaza events a synagogues was 'targeted' by protestors, you had the whole political apparatus rushing to the scene to get in front of cameras, yesterday a few mosques were bombed and not one squeak.

That's an awesome point. Look at the US. No one asks us to separate ourselves from the drone strikes that kill thousands. Reza Aslan set it best about Islamic violence. To paraphrase, he said something to the effect of muslim violence in France is not a muslim problem but a French problem, muslim violence in Saudi Arabia is a Saudi problem not a muslim problem, etc. The problem is that many people want just to look at a few examples and paste those generalizations over a giant populace. It's unfair and majorly hypocritical.
It's called empathy. Look it up. It's very different from sympathy, which is what I think you are referring to.

You can understand a rapist without accepting his motives and without having sympathy for his actions.

Empathy is to put yourself in once shoes and understand them from where they are coming/standing.

The two parisian murders grew up without their parents (both died young) in a shithole of a suburb and with crime around them and a bleak future. They were clearly lost and looking for identity and the feeling of 'belonging' (look it up it's an interesting psychology theory) somewhere which led them to radical Islam. They could have been gangsters, hooligans or free masons as well.

See now I've tried to understand the attackers without showing sympathy for their actions since I find them horrible, but from my understanding of them I might find a reason and therefore [maybe] a solution to prevent soem from turning to the extreme version of Islam.

One you scream out loud: ISLAM ISLAM ISLAM is the reason. You are doing nothing but yelling.
:sergio: this is my point exactly, charlie hebdo are not some free speech heroes, if the french really cared about free speech they wouldnt attack dieudonne both physically and in justice, it's a joke and a masquerade. if anyone is a hero it's the cop who got killed for protecting a bunch of morons who thrived on crass and low entertainment of shock. It's bigger morons killing off lesser morons.

before you go for the cheap rewording, this is by no means a justification of the obviously heinous actions, but a moron doesnt become a hero just because he died/got killed
