I think that deep down we all know that by far most of these terrorists are utter losers who lack true meaning in their life. More and more lone gunmen are standing up in Europe as well. Unless we want to go down the USA route, we might need to do something about the feelings of loneliness, disconnect and depression so many people apparently face today.

Because, quite obviously, this has nothing to do with any true ideology, it's just people feeling out of place.

Btw., a jewish man was killed last night by the terrorist outside the Jewish synagogue in Copenhagen.

The terrorist was killed this morning by the Police.

Good riddance. Sadly, this will only create a bigger divide in the Danish Society

But what many of The Golden Age dreamers always forget is that Freedom of speech, science, thought and expression was a key part of the Islamic Golden Age.

IS and simpletons dreaming of the Caliphate will never reach a Golden Age.

IS is stupid because it will never work. We won't have the sharia in Paris, London or New York. You might have it for a short while in some backwards region, but truth is IS does not have the power to really enforce anything. Guerilla warfare is great and all, but if we really need to, we can always just nuke the place and give up on an entire region. We won't ever need to and it's obviously not acceptable to do so, but it's the kind of possibility IS lacks completely. It will always be a marginal phenomenon.

The marginalised youth with a middle eastern/asian/muslim background in Europe needs some attention that isn't found among Police and stricter laws.

Sadly, those who are gaining support after these attacks, their solution to this is more police, longer time in prison, more surveillance, limiting democracy and my freedom. Meanwhile extremist do not care about that. The brainwashed will not stopped being brainwashed if he looks at 16 years in prison instead of 8 years.

We are letting terrorist win at the moment. They hate our culture and democracy and they only prosper in time of divide, hatred and reduction of the free democracy.

When they're extremely hated even in this region, except for a minor few who support them, you can't help but think that ya, they do not really have the power to enforce anything. All they will ever amount to is an expensive nuisance. The problem with the young men who fight with them, is that they're brainwashed to the point they are willing to die for the "cause", which is what makes eradicating them even more difficult.
