Why would anyone judge you?

Its the same for me (only fucker that makes me teary), everything is more special for me if its by Il Capitano :) Its not like we hold him above Juve like player fans only do, but on the contrary he just represents whats most beautiful of Juve the best in every way:touched:
Well, I was judged few days back when I said that Alex scoring has a special feeling for all Juventus fans or most of them. But the joy and satisfaction is still the same when we win.

I think with Alen I had that discussion.

Thats ridicolous, if you have followed Juve in Del Piero's career, and isnt not emotional as fuck with him the most as a Juventino, then you are one cold morbid fuck in my book :)

I mean, look at my avatar and tell me you dont get fucking goose bumps :touched: and still call yourself a Juve fan :p

I last played on a team when I was 10. Since then I've just been playing recreationally. Mostly midfield cause my reflexes and finishing aren't good enough for striker and you get to see the ball more often.
I see. Well it probably explains a lot since you were a midfielder and you're not that good finishing the ball. Though in football, whoever is able to shoot good from outside the box should be able to finish and he'll find it easy to score 1vs1.

I know exactly what you're talking about. And the same thing I said when we had that argument.

It just can't be the same when Del Piero scores or one of Molinaro or even Nedved. It has a different taste, different type of emotions when Alex scores.

I have a high ratio of messing up the simplest things, like ball reception. So in midfield if I can get the ball and have it for like a second before I do anything then I feel comfortable and in control. That's why playing striker doesn't work for me. And when I have the ball obviously I like to shoot whenever possible, whatever the angle is :D The great thing is that people on average are not that reliable at shooting so the goalkeeper often doesn't expect I'll place it accurately.

The thing about 1on1 is the keeper rushes out and gets me by surprise. I'm not good at making snap decisions like that, if I can plan my path first it works much better :D

i think its because we see him as a fan of the club like us... when he talks, when he plays, when he celebrates, even when hez on the bench you somehow feel his great love for the club... that makes us keep him in the highest regard... not many of the current crop of players are of that status, actually none of them are... thats why when nedved scores i jump and scream with joy, and when Alex scores i jump and scream with joy and at times with my eyes a little moist...

Blog: The Real Thing

After an accomplished victory over Real Madrid, Serafino Ingardia believes Juventus can go all the way and win the Champions League
If anyone had written off Juventus following their run of five games without a win then they will have had their minds changed by their performance against Real Madrid. That 2-1 triumph has proved that the Bianconeri can be protagonists in Europe this term.

Juve were simply brilliant on the night. Giving that kind of display against such a prestigious outfit can only confirm the quality of Claudio Ranieri’s side. Luck does have a part to play in football, but if Juventus were ever in a crisis then we should consider that chapter over.

Los Merengues had not won in Turin for 47 years and a brave Juventus, missing 11 players due to injury, gave the Spaniards yet another footballing lesson. Usual heroes Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved were superbly assisted by some fresh blood – Amauri and Alexander Manninger above all.

However, last night’s game should not completely erase the problems of a team which is evidently struggling in Serie A. Keeping up with the likes of Inter and Milan may be too difficult for the Old Lady. Perhaps their squad is not yet comparable to the ones of their rivals.

But this makes it easier for them to focus on other targets. The major European competition has always been a touchy issue for them as their 27 domestic titles have only yielded two European Cup victories. Great in Italy, never in Europe, that’s what they are used to say around the peninsula.

However, if the Bianconeri make the Champions League their priority then, in my opinion, they are valid candidates. They will undoubtedly qualify from the group stage and they will have the right spirit, as well as a touch of anger, to face the giants of Europe.

To a certain degree we can say that they may gradually become the Italian version of Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool:)melayyanandmessi:). The Reds always fail to win the Premiership, but in the Champions League it is a completely different matter.

When David Trezeguet, Gianluigi Buffon, Mauro Camoranesi and all the others return from injury Juve’s Scudetto bid may have already been compromised. The Champions League, however, will be there waiting for them and we all know how the Bianconeri stars can shine at night. Rome next May is no longer just a dream, it’s an objective.

It has nothing to do with being cold. I go completely crazy whenever we score a goal and the level of crazyness rizes up only with the importance of the goal or with the beauty of the goal.
I had my fair share of getting more crazy when Zidane scored a goal for Juve than when someone else was going to score, but i think i'm not so young anymore to idolize a player. Now the goalscorer isn't important at all to me.

Rab, you'll understand me when Del Piero will retire. I can guarantee you that you'll get equally excited when Giovinco and Player X will score a goal while some guys younger than you will find it strange how can you not rate Giovinco's goals more than any other goal.

Dont blame it on age you cold hearted bitch :D (I am jesting in case you take it seriously) I am just few years younger then you I think, and yeah its not the same as as when one was an impressionable kid at all, but the change is minor, not a metaphorphis to totally becoming indifferent callous git :p

Btw, Zizou was one of my favs, so was Baggio (first football crush, to so to speak with Roby), it was absolutely hard to see them both retire as players, but even if they are absolute magicians you adore (yes, still), they dont touch one cords as Ale, not even half, as he embodies everything that is good about Juve on top of being a magician.

So yeah, it MATTERS when the goalscorer is him, even if essentially every Juve goal is great just in itself, it does not that change that Ale's goals are extra special and moving simply because you have endured all kind of emotions and rides with him for 14 frigging years, it makes a DIFFERENCE. Its significantly different from seeing Amauri score, even if I am happy for the mofo.
