But Chelsea troubled us far more than we troubled them.
I don't think so. I think it was equal, but even if it was the case i'm not angry because we played away to Chelsea. Not Palermo, Atalanta or Chievo.

I think the misunderstandings here have a lot to do with the expectations. Maybe i sound satisfied because i expected much worse performance while you on the other hand probably expected better performance.

How much more attacking do you want?

We looked better once Marchionni came on. Then Trezeguet came on for Sissoko.

It would have been foolish to be more adventurous than that in the first leg.
Apart from two good crosses from Marchionni in the first ten minutes he was on, he didn't do much whatsoever.

I get the feeling that no matter how poor we play together as a team going forward, some will believe it doesn't have any bearing on how the result turns out. It truly boggles the mind.

We have many dupe accounts, many banned members register new accounts or use some other old accounts they created in the past, and we're checking everyone who's not a regular member.
Well Im using DSL, and DSL changes IP everytime the modem is turned on.

Teammates wont say Chiellini or Nedved sucked, neither will the coach or even the opponents, so I had no chance but say it here.

It needs to be heard...

Taking squads into account,

Ranieri's Juve in CL > Capello's Juve in CL

Anyone denying this is blind.
this is the truth.

capello was terrible in the CL. he had the strongest squad in europe but couldnt even score one goal, at home, when we needed to, FOR TWO YEARS RUNNING!

i will never forget how we went out to liverpool and arsenal. just hoofing the ball up to zlatan hoping something would come up.

    100% Sado.

I'm positive that we will also see a better Juventus side in the 2nd leg, so you can imagine the outcome.

Some of you might not take this into account, but playing two home matches before the 2nd leg is really helpful. The atmosphere will also play a role, like Esteban said, our 6,000 fans were all over the blues.

I think we have seen what Chelsea are capable of....at home. They haven't seen the 100% of Juve. It's not easy to score against us in CL at home.

Marchionni wasn't particularly good, but he stretched the pitch a bit and opened up a bit more space in midfield.

We had two clear chances and two or three half chances. You can't ask to create more than that when playing away to a very good team.

Go check some match facts before posting. Chelsea had 297 complete passes we had 295 complete passes.
How many of them passes were deep in our own half though? we barely struggled to reach near the box with our passes rather we had to use the flanks or some long shots to get anywhere near and IMO we need to overcome this notion in a fortnight.

I don't think the substitutions were great considering 2 were forced with injury. And the last was with 5 mins left. What exactly is marchionni/nedved adding to our team during games that gio hasn't already added? What does this poor kid gotta do to get into this team?

@ribery...his stock officially went up out of our price range today. How does a team like bayern score 4 goals you ask? Because they have a player like ribery that can do that. We do not.

Here is a suggestion of what Ranieri should have done in this match!
Just put Nedved in the inside near Sissoko and gief Gio a try on the left, we needed a goal here badly!

Chelsea after their goal created two chances. Juventus after the Chelsea goal were controlling the game. Chelsea were dangerous before they scored.

Also Juventus had more shots on target.

I can say one thing with confidence and it is that amauri has done me very proud today, he destroyed terry in the second half.

I think if we are to stand a chance of going through we must spring a total suprise and play some sort of 4-3-3 in the next leg, we struggle against this formation so my logic is to fight fire with fire.

Exactly. They went all guns blazing until they scored, after that my pulse wasn't high once. It never felt as if they threatened us after that. They sat back and it seemed both them and us were kind of satisfied with the result.
