All you guys with your interchanged avatars jinxed it... get back to watever avatars you had earlier :(

I really believe our passing and better performance in the final 1/3rd of the pitch lost us the game. No ball control, no sensible passing, no service to the forwards again.

I hope we play much better in Turin, but if we lose more players and Chelsea gain back the players from injury, then...

WE'RE DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!

Well we where dreadful. I dont give a s--t when someone will say we looked good in 2nd half. So few chances, for both sides actually. But they make them count, what we couldnt do.

Trez coming on at 85 minute.... sure he just needs one chance, but well 5 minutes to score against a side like Chelsea...

I hope todays match shows to Gigli and Secco that instead of going for the Poulsens of this world, we really need to buy a wc defender and a proper creative player.

Tiago was big  today.

To be honest, the whole team looked out of shape.

Chiellini playing one of his worst games. DP didnt get in to game and failed to have impact with freekicks, or was asked to play too deep to get the ball.

Nedved was one of the few who tried, but isnt that saying something??

People talk about experience...well you dont win titles playing grandpas week in week out, watch milan.

Well all is not lost, but when will Giovinco get his chance already??
He did get his chance, and he totally fucked it up by mis-hitting the ball.

Someone - don't remember who, sorry - mentioned in the live thread that there must be something in the water in Juve's dressing room to make them pass to imaginary players. I almost wish that were true; at least it's better than facing the fact that we really cannot pass.

Our players seemed so dazed, even knocking out team mates.

Let's see what happens in a month to Hiddink's Chelsea. Scary thought.

We did alright in the second half. If Giovinco was able to come on instead of Marchionni and Trezeguet got on earlier it might have been a different story.

That would have been a difficult shot to control in normal circumstances nevermind when you've only been on the pitch a minute.

The better team won. Were looked nervous and we have some players that just aren't of the required standard to win the CL, IMO.

Buffon 6

Mellberg 6.5
Legro 4.5
Chiellini 3.5
Molinaro 4.5

Sissoko 4.5
Tiago 5
Camoranesi 4.5
Nedved 6

Amauri 6
Del Piero 6

It's not over. We can do it in Turin but we'll have to improve A LOT.

We lost nothing!

Remember the 2003 and 2005

FORZA JUVE
True to that.
Our players will be pumped up and with the right spirit we can outplay Chelsea.

A draw is what we deserved from the chances we created. Tiago... he's a man with BIG ups and downs, we should've got rid of him last year.
Fucking constanly injured Zanetti... lets just start our next game with Marchisio. The kid is a true Juventino and gives his all every time I watch

If we play the return leg in Turin tomorrow I would say we will win and advance but in two weeks Hiddink will work only on preparing his team for this match.

Don't have much to say right now besides this reminds me exactly of the scenarios played out against Arsenal and Liverpool of years past. All Chelsea has to do is play a similar match today and shut down our painfully pathetic attempts at working the ball as a team up the pitch towards goal. Really, out of all top clubs in the competition, our passing is the most atrocious, which is something people don't want to admit.

Buffon - Made some good saves, especially holding onto the ball. 6.5

Mellberg - Better in the first half but terrible going forward. 6.5

Legrottaglie - Pretty poor, must be said. 5.5

Chiellini - Very poor. 5

Molinaro - Probably the player who looks the most out of place out of anybody on the pitch. The reserves squad is that way, kid. 5

Camoranesi - Clearly not healthy nor in form. 5.5

Sissoko - Simply wild and chaotic. His touches are piss poor but at least he can tackle the ball away from the opponent after losing it. 5.5

Tiago - Poor. 5.5

Nedved - Made a couple good maneuvers but besides that nonexistent, like usual. 6

Amauri - Had a hard time getting involved with the game because he had no service, but still made some chances on his own. 6.5

Del Piero - Did not receive much service either but he can do better. 6

Marchionni - Made a couple good crosses as soon as he came on, but then reverted back to his usual ways of being useless, giving the ball away. 5.5

Marchisio - Looked more active than Tiago. NA

Trezeguet - NA

Ranieri - Same old tricks, same old shit.

Chelsea - I wasn't really impressed to be honest. They troubled us in the first half but I've seen them play far better than this.

god i hope we dont do the same thing as we did against arsenal a few seasons ago when we went into the home leg 2-0 down i remember thuram saying " there will be cyclones of attack" it then turned to be a very boring match with hardly any shots on goal.
