i'm sad about the result but i am very disappointed with the way our team played. we really sucked balls today. poor sloppy passing, no rhythm or continuity in our mid-forward attack and no solidarity at the back

we were embarrassing ourselves on the field and i'm just glad that its 1-0, it should have been much worse

Well we where dreadful. I dont give a s--t when someone will say we looked good in 2nd half. So few chances, for both sides actually. But they make them count, what we couldnt do.

Trez coming on at 85 minute.... sure he just needs one chance, but well 5 minutes to score against a side like Chelsea...

I hope todays match shows to Gigli and Secco that instead of going for the Poulsens of this world, we really need to buy a wc defender and a proper creative player.

Tiago was big  today.

To be honest, the whole team looked out of shape.

Chiellini playing one of his worst games. DP didnt get in to game and failed to have impact with freekicks, or was asked to play too deep to get the ball.

Nedved was one of the few who tried, but isnt that saying something??

People talk about experience...well you dont win titles playing grandpas week in week out, watch milan.

Well all is not lost, but when will Giovinco get his chance already??

So cruel. I thought the last shot went in :(
I believe many posts with "We played awful" will follow, but i feel we played well. As well as you can expect a team to play against Chelsea on their stadium. We went for the equaliser, we defended very well in the second half, we sent so many crosses inside the box, we had much more possession for the first time in CL this year, we even introduced the third attacker, but we were against a great defense.

Chelsea created one 100% chance and they took it. We didn't create such a chance (although Trez missed what he usually scores) and we couldn't score.

The result is awful though. Chelsea is 80% in the next round.
i agree, i dont think we were too bad today, apart from the opening 15 minutes. The result though is really bad, if chelsea score in turin we need 3 goals....

The approach alen, we had good possesion like we'd done in the other games against English teams, we just can't handle the tempo or the 4-3-3 it pushed us wide and focused on our weakest players.

it wont be easy for them to score on us at home TBH. i think we just need to play as well as we all know we can. the first 20 minutes cost us otherwise espescially in the second half we played as well as i think we couldve you must remember chelsea at home is not easy the fact that they didnt score another is important.

We have too many dumb players man. We're technically retarded. In Capello days we didn't have the spirit and motivation, now we simply lack intelligence.

Well, it ain't over till it's over, let's see what happens.

The passing was some of the worst I've ever seen in a Juve match. Period. The only redemption is that we managed to only give up one goal. Oddly, we perhaps got the best result this week of any Serie A team in the tournament. (Inter 0-0 at home is, IMO, worse.)

I will keep this brief, because I want to forget this match.

Buffon - 6 - Not a whole lot to do, but a good game.

Mellberg - 6 - Surprisingly, one of our better defenders in that he didn't do anything as offensive as the others.

Legro - 5.5 - Some redemption, not much.

Chiellini - 5 - Bad day all around.

Molinaro - 4.5 - Owned in the first half. Better in the second but hacked his opponents.

    Nedved - 6.5 - MoM.

Sissoko - 5 - Lousy passing. Better aggressive defensive play in the second half.

    Tiago - 4.5 - Particularly poor passing.

Camoranesi - 4.5 - Couldn't deliver any good crosses or service when he should have.

    Amauri - 5 - Didn't get the service.

Del Piero - 4.5 - Even coming back, couldn't get involved.

    Subs:

Marchisio - 6 - Decent enough to make you wish he started.

Marchionni - 6.5 - You know how bad things are when Marchionni comes on and quickly becomes an impact player.

    Trezeguet - 5 - Poor touches.

    Coach:

Ranieri - 5 - The subs weren't bad -- just that changes were late. But the team didn't mentally or physically ready to play. Even so, you can't blame him for the horrible passing on the pitch today: that was all the players.

me too!!! I scream goal out loud here but then I saw the ball went to corner kick and the ref said goal kick... damn ref!!

The amount of times the ball wasn't accurately passed was shocking. Wasn't impressed by Marchisio when he came on. Momo was bad, Chiellini had a terrible game. Only player I liked was Amauri, and he's the one who is supposed to be on the end of plays, not running down the wings trying to create something.
I didn't like Chiellini too.... and Molinaro was terrible... I hate him... I prefer De Ceglie than him... or maybe but Giovinco in the LB... much better!!

we will win the home match..
    yeah... we will... 3-0!!

The nerves got to us today. A little too much power on a pass, trying to make the perfect pass...They tried but it's not enough. Execution was what we needed.
