Did you see what happened to our defence against BATE when there was only one DM?

I think that to sign Xabi, we needed to also strengthen the defence. We, unsurprisingly, went with the cheap option.

true, but we have needed another CB since last season...and the player we did buy as a CM, Christian Poulsen, is playing the same role as Xabi would have done i.e. sit in front of the defence and distribute the ball...and I think it would be fair to say that Xabi would have made a a helluva difference with our creativity issues if he had been brought in

I was more for Poulsen than Alonso. If we will play with 2DM we need 3 top DM and with Marchisio we have 4 which is OK considering so many games this season we gonna play.


today it will be difficult game for us..

No Trez, IQ, Legro, Zebina, Zanetti. Nedved is very tired, DP even more, plus last 3-4 games he was selfish too, I hope for 3 pints only, and don't care about "creativity"

Very good team, but be certain it wont happen. It's solid at the back with 2DMS but ranieri would never play it.
