maybe Ranieri does have a point to say it is great to come back from two goals down but we should have destroyed Bate.
Then again it does seem to me there are no weak teams anymore if you look at the other results.

There are easy teams in cl, it is just Italian teams make life hard for themselves with their approach.

Look at Inter last night and Roma against Bourdeax and you would see my point. Inter should have won last night but decided not to play at all in the 2nd half knowing full well that werder bremen know how to get goals

Roma were outplayed and outfought for most part last night against a team playing with 10 men with Gourcuff, a complete flop at Milan making a mockery of the Roma side.

I do not feel that the premiership sides are as good as people are making out but teams now fear them so much and do not attack them as they should. but in fairness premiership sides do come after you wherever the tie is played and most importantly have young players in their ranks.

Teams do not respect Italian teams anymore and attack them both home and away and because seriea sides tend to be timid playing away from home they get punished more often than not.

Not to mention the old men they pack in their sides that are not able to cope with demands of both serieA and Cl.

Juventus is another case though as we lack quality, pace and managerial acumen.Yes we can do very well in seriea because it is "in our dna" but in Cl, it is not and no amount of forensics would not make it so.

Our transfer policy for the past 3 years has been a shocker as some of the players we bring in would not be considered by the top English and Spanish sides but you hear people like Buffon saying we can with both competitions with "the quality we have". Seriuosly what is he smoking?

We cannot keep playing the underdog and be up for the big guys and screw up against the smaller sides.

We have full backs that cannot cross the ball, midfield that is so lop sided in favour of ball winners and attack that is starved of service when it is clear that you give our strikers chances they would score.

If Arsenal had Dp, Amauri, Trez and even iaquinta in their ranks they might be scoring 200 in all competions per season with the amount of chances they create

Only a few people seem to understand that this is a real issue. Many say we don't need creativity to win; perhaps they would be right with our Capello squads a few years ago, but this one doesn't have the defense to play such a game. Even with two defensive midfielders out there we are still tested, and if we can't put the ball in the net anyway, what is good about 0-0 draws? The team just cannot be fielded like this and expect to win stuff.

People love to defend all this crap, from the manager to the transfer campaign, but it's all a load of bollocks.

as i told u we need afucking fullback(left or right i don't care) and a centerback

with a good fullback we could cross from the wings with a new cb we could play with only 1 dm. look even legro and chillini are a really great pair but they have also to cover for the left and right side till grygera and de ceglie are not at their best... u could see that against bate chillini was to often forced to play wide on the left to cover de ceglie and so we had hughes holes in the middle. therefore we need 2 new defenders. so we could play grygera-cb-chillini-lb. in midfield camo on the right sissoko as the only dm neddy on the left and gio behind the strikers. with amauri and dp or iaquinta upfront as long as trez is injured.
the thing is even camo and neddy tried most of the time to get to the middle with gio there they are forced to stay at the wing so we can have more pressure from everywhere

our game is just to simple. most of the time we just try to get trugh the middle... and sometimes we try with poor crosses from outside... it just that our oppent knows what we r going to do next. and if they put us under pressure we totally lose our minds... the first 25 min against bate they took so much pressure on us and u could clearly see that noone is able to stop it.... sissoko tried hard but was alone cause camo wasn't at his best in the middle..gio didn't do us a favor with the balls he lost so many times in the first 25 min... and neddy seemed to be tired... the problem against bate wasn'T at all our defence it was for me the totally clueless midfield which was overrun by bate....and than our defence isn't strong enough to handle such a pressure and made to much positional error mostly the 2 fullbacks...

CL this year does not have any weak teams.
Cluj drew with Chelsea, Dynamo Kiev should have beaten Arsenal, Barca was trailing for 87mins. Every team is a threat at home, whether they are well-known or not.

we need a Pirlo kind of player in the team, some one to control the ball slow down when needed and increase the pace of the game at other team, we just don\t know how to move the ball around and withour current squad we need to change the formation or simply kill CR

I think the problem is much bigger than that. Getting a player like pirlo won't solve all of our problems. We need new set of full backs thats the priority IMO. Ranieri is playing nedved every game even though he can't create much chances just to cover for the defence plus we allready have 2 DM's in the team thats leaves us with camo only to create something for the attackers. And when camo is not 100% fit we're screwed.

If the team struggles this year i won't put all the blame on ranieri (though he's part of that problem) but rather blame the board and their stupid summer transfers.
