It’s insane how far we have fallen since the 2018-19 season that we signed Ronaldo for. Our last season making CL quarterfinals. We have 3 Rof16 and 1 group stage exit since. And then the points penalty leading to no Europe this year. Paratici-Nedved-Agnelli trio somehow destroyed everything Beppe built in just a couple years.

It's almost impressive really, we had such a lead over everyone else in the country and were making finals in Europe to now this.

Out of 3 Italian teams (all finishing 2nd) merda got the easiest draw. Hope Morata destroys them.

Pretty much every player we spent big on flopped hard, Chiesa and De Ligt being the exception. Ronaldo, although not a flop by any measure, was so big of a weight on the budget that we couldn’t possibly make a mistake anywhere else, and we made all of them.

Tonight was the last ever traditional group stage format we'll see in the Champions League again…

From next season, it will be a 'swiss style system'.

36 teams will compete in one big league table, as opposed to groups.

Each team will play 8 matches against 8 different opponents.

The top 8 in the league, will advance to the knockout stages.

Those who finish 9-24th, will compete in two-legged play-offs to join the last 16.(Eurofoot)
i like this format not gonna lie

Barca are easier than Atletico right now. There are even talks Xavi might lose his job.

Obvious ruling from the Court of Justice regarding the Super League.

It's just a matter of time now.
