that game reminded me ALOT of the bayern 4-2 juve game,

Inter messed up worse though.

2-0 from the start aggregate lead.

mikitaryn was dreadful and thuram and barella wasted a 1v1 each

i expected martinez to sky over the penalty, he's too much of an "in the moment" player.

darmian and acerbi are solid defensive players to be fair lol

but sanchez and klassen are beyond useless
Solid to what degree? Solid enough to play in serie A but when it comes to Europe its a different story. Even mkhitarayan who was meant to be some super midfielder this season looked very below par last night, but would he get into the starting line up of a top 5 European club? No chance

Nah just cut the BS. You got exposed. Just stop it.

'2nd best team in Europe' win decisive encounters, have big players step up to the plate.
If only football worked in such a shallow minded fashion. It wouldn't even be popular.

If anybody has been exposed, it's you and your limited understanding on what it is you're watching. But that's been evident for quite some time now.

...'2nd best team in Europe' win decisive encounters, have big players step up to the plate...
that's usually true until it isn't

remember city being THE bookmakers' favorite for years, then choking against teams like spurs or lyon? remember jj having cristiano, the epitome of a player who steps up on big occasions, until he didn't? remember real being a top favorite for years, and not able to convert it to actual wins until zidane benched james rodriguez in favor of casemiro? and the list is practically endless

did we have players who could step up throughout the years? of course, plenty. trezeguet decided an international tournament, that's as clutch as it gets in football. then he missed a penalty in a cl final

inda being the 2nd best team is an obvious stretch, but they were easy favorites against atletico. we're celebrating not only because tuz still have some elements of a juventus forum left but also they were heavy favorites, especially after a home win and leading in the return leg. and they fortunately choked. that doesn't make them not favorites in hindsight

It's part of the Napoli brand. He wants Napoli fans to believe they are fighting against the big boys, but that somehow they are always kept down by the men in charge.
Keeping up the tradition of Kingdom of Two Sicilies/Neo-bourbonists still whining about the big bad Kingdom of Sardinia annexing them and forming Italy.

Old habits die hard.

Just saw the Inter result vs Atletico. Extremely happy to see them out especially with the cherry on the cake as it was Lautaro that missed the crucial one.
Are there any Italian left now?

BBC and premfaces spamming Arsenal v Man City then an easy final therefore, 100% Bayern and Madrid fan for those matches. I'd like someone from the other side of the draw to win, but it likely won't happen.
