The passing, the movement, the game plan. While we labor to produce chances and look disjointed as fuck, these teams seem to have a system and place and a proper coach to implement it. It also helps when you have quality midfielders.

Not really. They were embarrassing under Solari. They used to regularly choke in the round of 16 in the mid/late 00s.

Zidane as stated above is a beast in knockout cup competitions. Knows how to prepare his team on the big occasions. Plus this is an all time great midfield of theirs. Really shows how good their old guard is and credit to Zidane for being able to squeeze the last bits out of them.
