yeah well still didn't see why you had to take it out on me

Besides lets say bayern don't even win the CL this year, then what? Suddenly we become bitter towards one of the plastic oil rich clubs who can't keep this up forever.
I didn't take anything out on you, or anyone, I'm just an aging bitter ol' football fan sitting here late at night, with my drink, telling the truth: this Juve is far behind Bayern Munich. You came at me with the fabulous Juve/Agnelli story and how we always bounce back and how Juve is the most fantastic European club for its ability to "bounce back" since Baggio and Del Piero and Zidane, as if I'm supposed to sit here and clap for 5 final losses in a row and Paratici's fine achievements in the transfer market.

The truth of the matter is, the past few years have been a massive failure, and we will now pay the price for it, sporting-wise and economically.

Funny that because Bayern weren't exactly all that in recent times, even at the start of the season they were a shambles, no better than us if you ask me.

Serious question though, What would most likely have happened to us if we faced this Bayern today?
we wouldn't have lost as badly. Ter Stegan kept giving the ball away half the time which didn't help. I like to think we have a slightly better defence than barca too and a bit more energy in our midfield than what barca fielded tonight.

Setien's starting 11 was poor, showed way too much respect to bayern tbh

in the long term, we're not even close as to how fucked barca are. They literally can't shift anyone to sufficiently cover their losses, who's going to pay anything close to the 90+ mill for the likes of coutinho, dembele and Griezmann? plus the old players like vidal, busquets and rakitic on big wages. We literally raped them by taking one of their younger players in Arthur and swapped him with Pjanic who will no doubt earn more than what Arthur did at barca and he's already in his 30s!

I'll tell you something about Juve, for as long as I can remember and traditionally this club has been somewhat sensible in it's spending. We got rid of Liam Brady to bring Platini, we got rid of Baggio to let Del Piero thrive, we sold Zidane to bring the likes of Nedved and Thuram. We were never took the approach the likes of berlusconi and moratti did and pumped money to the point it was no longer sustainable. This is why the Agnelli family have lasted as long as they have at Juve, and are still the longest serving owners of any club in Europe if I'm not mistaken.

That's why I'm not worried about this club's future, we have ups and downs yes, but this club knows how to build new cycles better than anyone.
hopefully current regime is not the end of this

I'm surprised nobody has said a word about it but Semedo was probably the worst player I've seen in a long time. You can't blame all goals on him, but he was atl east directly involved in 4 of them. What a joke of a player.

Liverpool sold Coutinho for 120M to Barcelona, with the money they bought Van Dijk an essential pillar of their team and won the CL and title.

Coutinho flopped at Barcelona. Barca replaced him with 100M Griezmann from Atletico. They loan Coutinho to Bayern

Atletico used that money to buy a 120M Felix who also flopped and Lemar with 0 goals and assists.

I just see a chain of shit transfers together
