Ajax low key beat both Valencia and Lille 3-0. Maybe those are not great teams but it's still impressive in the CL. Looks like they were much more than De Ligt and De Jong.

The Italians started last season fighting with EPL for the 2nd place in UEFA coefficients. Now they fell to 4th place, losing the 3rd to Germany. It doesn't change anything being 1st or 4th, but it does show the level of the league. Losing points to Slavia Prague, Genk or Cluj is a rare occurrence for the Spanish and English teams, while for the Italians it's the norm.

Agree. It's as if they go into these matches with a loser mentality.

Typical Conte in Europe. 11 men behind the ball for 45 minutes.
It is a miracle they attacked at all the first half.

Inter showed they have grown , couple of years ago they would of lost this game by 5 goals .

    Yep.

Italian teams (besides Juventus) have had more or less consistently embarrassing results in Europe for the last few years. The league is of a real low quality at the moment imo.

Italian teams had a record season in terms of coefficient in 2014-15 while English teams had a terrible year. This season, the 2014/15 results are no longer taken into consideration in the rankings, which is why the gap between Italy and England is now massive.

This year’s results haven’t had much of an impact so far.
