Are you saying Tottenham paid off London's bureaucrats?
Roma's stadium problems are caused because the city of Rome didn't wanna lose rent money they were getting from AS Roma for playing at the Olimpico.
It’s apple and oranges. I think that’s what you’re saying ...

There’s less bureaucracy in England than Italy, and a more stable economy. Also Spurs own the land, bricks and mortar of the old and new stadiums - both located on the same site. All loans privately financed.

Spurs developing the site has no down side at all to the Council, and a huge upside to Tottenham as a region (which is a bit of a crap hole). No need to pay anyone off. It was a win/win for everyone.

Sounds as if Roma’s situation isn’t quite the same, and with some conflicting interests?

Shame about Kane, but we're certainly not as solely reliant on him as the media likes to make out. Son might actually be our most important player right now.

Happy with 1-0, we can sit back and play on the break in Manchester. We'll likely get beat, but hoping for a 2-1 or 3-2.

Terrible use of VAR tonight. The systems seen to be getting there, but it's implementation is still inconsistent and sub-par. Spots a handball that no-one in the stadium saw, including Man City players, and was dubious at best. Missed a deliberate elbow in the back of Kane's head by Fernandinho. I believe it wasn't great in Liverpool either?

The fat man was a one-time thing. Back to Duel of the Fates (plus fancy lights, and a cheesy Euro-style tifo).

Honestly if Son didn't miss like 7 or 8 games due to international duties for South Korea he would already have over 20 goals. And imagine if he's allowed to take penalty kicks for his team instead of Kane. Son is world class.

I want chokerboy to screw up against Man Utd just so Lineker gets muzzled on Twitter. The man is unbearable.
But if Man Utd were to go through he'll just tweet about 3/4 of the semi-finalists being English. Might be best just not to read his tweets.

Also, If Danny Rose has really had enough of Football due to racism, perhaps he could play running back in NFL.

This list is a piece of shit.
Bayern 2nd, Real and Atletico over Juventus, Chelsea almost on par with Juventus.

What a fucking joke. Americans should stick to analyzing handegg and baseball.
don’t worry UEFA is hoping and working for that :D

It is fair to hate the lot. From Fulham to Man City. But we should hate Manure more as they created a threat called Juve The Cheats in their weird Forum.
man utd fans should kiss our ass! they would be nowhere near this stage of the competition if it wasn't for allegri.

And Olympiacos!?
Yeah that's absurd. It's very hard to compare teams from other leagues to each other, since they play a very limited number of times to each other every year. But Napoli and Inter are in the same league ffs. Inter has not finished above Napoli since 2011.

They just decided to take a crack at an impossible task, and of course it looks absurd. But these are the guys who predicted Hillary will win in 2016 so...

We can rest everyone this weekend, Ajax can't. Sure they're young but 3 games a week is a lot for anyone.
Who's their opponent this weekend? Better be a decent enough team.
