Barza has generally played in a back 3 or as RB this year. Rugani has played more minutes as a CB. Allegri chose experience for this CL match against Madrid and it backfired. You are exaggerating how little he plays imo, and also about the quality of opponent he has played against, I listed multiple matches against upper table sides he played in.

He's a good young player with lots of potential, especially considering CBs often play at a high level into their mid-30s, and I highly doubt we sell him. ~2000 minutes of match time this season isn't going to stunt his development.

That being said, next season is a vital one for him.
It's not about the minutes. It's about being trusted in important matches and giving him a chance to grow. I hope Caldara doesn't get the same treatment.

I really don't understand why he doesn't adapt more often, especially against Klopp.

FFS. That 523/343 he played once or twice against Dortmund, after getting tired of getting hammered on the counter, worked perfect, and it still would.
Exactly. Just "park the bus" and let them come at you, then hit them with their own medicine. He could make it so simply for himself, but he wants to play "the perfect game", and you just cant do that against opponents that will hit you hard on the counter like that.

Honestly not sure where to put this Liverpool side, might reach a final this year. I doubt they will win it though.

Bruyne is pretty good. Also the City player I would like to have the most.

Don't worry he will be treated in the same way as any other young player he will be slowly introduced in the team

I'd be curious to play a 4-3-1-2 this year/next year. I know some, like @MikeM hate the lack of width in the formation, but Bernadeschi is probably a better CAM than he is a winger, and certainly a better CAM than Dybala. So move Dybala forward to play the Tevez role, as he is far better closer to goal.

Szczesny
De Sciglio :inter: - Benatia - Chiellini - Sandro
Khedira - Pjanic - Matuidi
Bernadeschi
Dybala-Higuain

Upgrade Khedira and De Sciglio and that's a pretty damn good starting XI imo.

Where is vialli92 and nedved96 indeed guardiola is a better coach than allegri
Nedved likes both, so he's gonna suck Kloppos dick instead, ignoring that what happened today, just like the last time Pool played City, only happened cause both coaches stick to their usual tactics. No adapting. No nothing.

Klopps football just happens to work against Pep, the whole world knows, even Pep who still refuses to address this issue by adapting, cause he too proud.

Klopp on the other hand never adapts cause he can't, being the tactical clueless coach he's always been.

This generation of football lacks depth.

Football died in 2006. Hate it.
:agree:

But don't worry, you still have your love of Premier League to sustain you. :snoop:

Two of the least adaptable coaches in football today. Pep won't adapt so he gets embarrassed by Klopp. And Klopp won't adapt so he'll get embarrassed by any of the big 3 teams left.
