And it's worth noting Rugani's style of defending needs maturity. He rely mostly on reading the game and being a step ahead of his opponent. Takes tiem to translate that to the highest level.

That said I think he is playing too little, but I'm also a big fan of his type of defender. Classic italian professor type.
Next season is the big season for Rugani. Barza is done. Very obviously. Chiellini, though still fantastic, is 35... So Rugani should have every opportunity to push for a lot of playing time.

Ideally having a Chiello type next to them, here's hope Caldara can be just that.

Liverpool can score three, Roma can get an away goal, and we just get dominated? No excuse for yesterday at all, what an embarrassment.

Granted, I can only look at stats since I'm at work, but it's just mindblowing.

Guardiolas stubbornness is mindblowing. Not changing a single thing despite 0 attempt on target; playing right into Klopps hand.

He's played 90 minutes this year against Barcelona (0-0), AC Milan (2-0), Fiorentina (1-0), Sampdoria (2-3), Torino (2-0), Lazio (1-0). These are all upper table teams. I don't get what your point is? We have two better CBs in Chiellini and Benatia. Rugani is our 3rd best CB and won't nor should he be our starter in most big games if those two are healthy and in form.
He's our 4th best. Barzagli and Benatia (earlier in the season when he was awful) were repeatedly preferred. If he's not better than early season Benatia or current Barzagli he should be sold like Ogbonna, and be replaced with somebody better.
tbf that's what Beppe tried to do with Howedes, and Caldara for next season. It's too late for this season now.

As always when those two meet. He should know better by know, in fact he probably does, but doesn't give a fuck anyway.

Luckily Pool are running out of steam around the 60 minute mark as shown when they met the last time and almost bottled it towards the end.
