:agree:

Allegri thrives against speedy counterattacking teams. Just cedes possession, shuts up shop, and let's all their pace go to waste.

He struggles against well-rounded teams that can play both possession and counterattack, that can break down organized defences and also attack with pace when our defense gets stretched.
Don’t bother. A lot of people here will downplay our team till forever while they’ll praise other teams like Liverpool. Which is laughable.

Guardiola said before the game that he would make no allowances for Liverpool's style of play and attacking players, and that he was worried it could go spectacularly wrong. His reasoning was that he didn't want to confuse or let his players worry.

Sorry, what? They deserve to get beat 5-0 tonight, that's pathetic.

IMO that's not on Allegri but on our team. Allegri would destroy Europe in a top team.
Yeah. It's on our board. I don't even know if it's on Beppe at this point. Unless Beppe is just not spending the transfer budget we have (which is possible given his comments on how it is hard to find Juve-quality players), the board needs to loosen the purse strings and spend the money required on getting a top player. I'd say we are 2-3 players in the starting XI away from being able to go toe-to-toe with the very best team each year.

For the past 4-5 years anyways. He's eclipsed him by a margin on the biggest stage.

He has 33 goals - 10 assists in 28 CL knockout matches since their run started in 2013-14.

Agreed.

But those 3 top players ain't gonna happen unless we sold 5, which we don't even have :D

Oh and btw, I'd say it's half on Beppe simply because I hate his constant comments like "player can leave us if he wants so". I don't like the pussy attitude.

Yeah Messi being more complete means fuck all for instance, there's nobody as clutch and efficient as Ronaldo in big games. Greatest difference maker of this generation

Yeah. I'd place some blame on Beppe too, even with budget constraints the constant comments to the media about our selling policy are annoying as fuck.
