I agree with that mostly, but his influence for the team back in 2013 was simply bigger than Messis and Ronaldos influence for their teams in that period. Ribery was like i said earlier probably the biggest reason we won the CL, that combined with a team that worked for each other and defended like mad men
I'm going to get slated by most by so far it's quite obvious that Man City and P$G are going to play an important part in this season's CL. Dominating their domestic league and can shift their focus to the CL. Barca too considering they have almost won La Liga by November and can put more focus on the CL.
I really think this season will be hard for us to achieve another final in the CL. The English, Spanish, German and French league are decided already. Wheres we need to push hard in Serie A to win the league.

I love how people (especially on this forum) used to say us dominating Serie A was making us weak when it came to big CL games, now when City and PSG do it, it’s an advantage to them @Hængebøffer

I read that argument too and it was wrong but there is another way of thinking to it:
I think it goes both ways. If you dominate your league for a couple of seasons in a row it somehow slows your tactical and mental development. When you're head and shoulders above of your league a lot of the time matches are decided by individual skill.
When you dominate your league ONCE in a very long time it enables you to focus on the CL too. Barca, P$G, Man City and Bayern can rest their most important before a CL match whereas we don't have that luxury.
Mainly Barca, P$G and City have tactical adapted to it's new players and systems. If they dominate their league for 5 years in the same pattern that it'll be a problem but they're safe for now imo.

What a joke... wont get into details but only by seeing Pique there already makes enough of a point...good thing nobody really cares about this Uefa crap, only 11 years old barka and madridiots kids could possibly recognise that team anywhere near legit...
What amuses me is how not even a single player that plays or ever played for Juventus (3 finals-3 lost) or ok let’s say not Juve cause they didnt win it in this period but what about not even one single player from ACMilan (3 finals- 2 won).... anyway on the bright side of things the list aint supposed to be taken serious , is based solely on appereances in TOTY so it does make sense because in the past couple of years fans could vote and majority of them been barca/madrid and apparently british fans
