Why Spurs and Man Utd hope Barcelona don't lose to Juve
22 November at 14:30

Premier League giants Tottenham waaaaaaaaaaaaaat :lol:  and Manchester United would be secretly hoping that Juventus do not beat Barcelona in their Champions League group stage clash later today. Tottenham qualified for the first knockout rounds of the Champions League, thanks to yesterday’s impressive, 2-1 comeback win over Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park yesterday. The win for Mauricio Pochettino’s men knocked Dortmund out of the competition and assured Spurs a top spot in the group.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United would also need a single point from their game at Basel to finish at the top of their group. Their fates in the competition would depend a lot on who they face in the next round and if Barcelona beat Juventus in Turin later today, they be guaranteed a top spot in their group, with Juve to fight it out with Sporting Lisbon for the second spot.

If Juventus win though, Barcelona will slide down to second and Manchester United and Tottenham would not want that, if they desire to avoid the Catalans in the next round of the competition.

Have you seen cuadrado, Licht, asamoah or Mario trying to cross?
See asamoah and lichsteiner are past their prime but our management did not sell them especially asamoah he wanted to leave but we did not sell him as for the other two they are start each game due to their defensive contribution

So what ?

24 goals in 5 games. They are averaging 5 a game. How isthat not impressive ? And only 1 goal conceded too.
screw them. Not hard when you have a billion dollars to spend. Even Pep's Manchester City is (finally) starting to look good after another 250mil pound summer
