I wouldnt bet money on PSG in knockouts.

Celtic are rubbish. Bayern had issues and changed coach.

Lets see what they will do in the knockouts. I think semis is maximum for them. Its pointless to make some long term conclusions of any of these sides in the group stages (autumn/winter).


For example i cant even remember who we played last year in group stage. But i remember we played Porto/Barca/Monaco/Real in knockouts.

Also if you base this on their current performances....the knockouts business is in the spring. It doesnt matter what these sides do right now. They are peaking too early.

I dont trust Emery.

There simply isnt much pressure in the groupstage for these sides. The real pressure starts in the knockouts. We will see then how good these sides are.

Yep. I also gotta see them against a World class team in the knockouts, before making any conclusions.

On paper their attack is scary though, but their defence is not impressive at all

Based on what exactly? I can understand this optimism if we were actually playing something resembling football, which we currently aren't. I'd rather avoid City and PSG; let them face, and hopefully get eliminated by, Bayern and Real Madrid.
