I'm posting reality. You are the one opposing it. Last 3 years, our net spend has been less than ~20-30M. Our revenue numbers have been bloated up only by big sales and perhaps the trend will continue next year as well.
yep, agree 100%. one just has to look at how we sold Llorente to England/Monaco, Vidal to United, Bonucci to City etc. or even this summer when we sold AS to Chelsea... we always go for the highest bid instead of accepting the players wish, so what you say is 100% true

Why do you care about our net expenditure? We're not Manchester United to spend a fortune in order to be still recognized by the people. Stop with this nonsense that our financial success is solely due to the sales because it is rubbish as we reinvest all the money we got from sales. Our net income is growing every year and you need to be an idiot not to recognize it. We're much more successful than clubs that spend fortunes on the market.

Re-read my post and stop jumping at conclusions. I said our revenue has been bloated lately by big sales. Undeniable. We posted €550M revenues due to revenue from Pogba and Morata sales. But this has come at the expense of losing key players. What wrong did I say ? Our model right now is similar to Atlético/Arsenal where sales of key players have aided our budget and it's not because we're broke. And I have highlighted that if we continue along this trend , sooner or later we'll stagnate like Atlético or Dortmund. No sir, you're the idiot who believes in fairytales and think that recycling the squad every year will make us win the CL.
These things need to be highlighted to people who believe we have done an amazing job in the mercato this year and people who think selling top players every year would somehow land us closer to the CL crown.
it might have to do with the fact that we have capable people like Beppe, Fabio and Nedved who hae an idea how to build a winning squad and know a thing or two about how to replace key players gradually while maintaining the level of qualify in the squad, but maybe thats just me. or it might be that we only care about profit and sell our players for huge sums whenever we can, which is why we are at the level of Dortmund or Arsenal right now

Sucks to sell key players but we clearly don’t take that avenue at least to increase profit. I wish we kept some of them longer than we did but it is what it is. We don’t make it a focus of ONLY profit by selling without reinvesting that money to improve the club.
I dint imply that we only care about profit. Although Pogba was a good example of maximizing transfer revenue. We are striking a fine balance between profit and players supposedly asking to leave. Glad you agree Beppe undersells. I thought his hands are tied generally when it comes to selling....
